Hello guys,
I drive my new (used) 2021 DD SRT for 2 weeks now and had annoying issue today (twice).
Crawling in traffic jam my uconnect screen went blank and button lights below (AC and and multimedia controls) started flashing for 2-3 seconds every 7-8 seconds. Just ON and OFF again. None of them were functioning. Also, front power windows stopped working. I am wondering all of this is connected to uconnect. I tried resets, combinations from internet but it looked like not working. After 15 minutes all started working again but step by step, slowly. First music, than climate control. Half an hour later similar situation, but this time I heard music from spotify and it lasted only for 5 minutes.
Any idea what to do? What can be wrong? How to fix this for good?

Sounds like either your battery is going and it very well could be so change it or there may be a loose connection somewhere.

1. open the fuse panel (TIPM) under the hood and firmly press all the fuses into the slots. They are never pressed down far enough from the factory and it could cause issues.
2. Check for loose connections in the battery compartment (under front passenger seat) and tighten as needed.
3. Replace the battery because that is the next lowest cost diagnostic step.

Hi,
some updates:
1 - done
2 - done
3 - bought new battery today.
Unfortunatelly, no improvements. Everything is ok, and with no special trigger panel and screen just turns off like before.
I've chcked DTC with bluetooth OBDII on my phone and couple errors appeared:

U0010(00) [0xC01000]
Controller area network (CAN) data bus, medium speed bus
----------------------------
U0164(00) [0xC16400]
Data bus, AC control module - no communication

U0200(00) [0xC20000]
Data bus, door function control module B - no communication

U0199(00) [0xC19900]
Data bus, door function control module A - no communication

U0184(00) [0xC18400]

U0011(00) [0xC01100]

Last two may not be related to this.

Check your wiring harness under the hood and look hard for chewed wires. It's possible a rodent stashed himself in the engine compartment for a while and chewed your harness up.

I didn't find anything suspicious. Also, It appeared only yesterday and a day before. Since then I've parked in multi car garage 🤔

Back in 2015 when my wife had her new(then) 2015JGC we went to the dentist and when I parked it, the HVAC went nuts. Blowing on high, changing the air flow by itself. Buttons on uconnect did not work. I said piece of sh1t and shut it off and went into the dentist. I cam out, started the Jeep and it was fine and I never had another issue in the next 6 years I owned it.

What version of firmware is on your uconnect? You can find it someone in the settings. You may need to update it.

Little update - after 10 days. Since then there was no single problem or fault. And I realised it raining heavy so this must be a reason. Ive checked the wires once again and found 2 big connectors that were unattached to anything so the raining water was able to couse some shortcuts. I repaired that and need to wait for another rain :)
