He already bought the Exploder. But you won't see this because you ignore me.

Hello, I'm looking to purchase a Durango RT and found a few 2024's near me. I went and test drove a 2024 RWD RT Premium. The asking price on the website was $51,700. Sticker was 62K. The vehicle has been on their lot since April. They came back with a OTD price of over $55k.

They tacked on 1K in dealer accessories which is a 1 year tire warranty, 3m interior treatment and VIP treatment. These are all of course BS upcharge fee's. They also have a $1k DOC fee added.

I offered them 50K OTD the door which I think is reasonable for a 2024 leftover that has been sitting on their lot for 9 months. They came back and said the best they could do was take a few hundred dollars off.

Is my thinking on pricing way off or are these dealers just completely unreasonable?
Walk away. Here's why:

2024 Dodge Durango RT Premium w/Tow n Go package AWD
MSRP was $73k (I'm rounding down a little)
Rebates/Power Dollars were $9100
My price was $51,600 plus tax/title/docs you get the point.

FYI my color is Red Oxide and I'm in Phoenix, AZ area. You won't find another like mine in the state and the dealer knew it. I'm just super annoying. Oh yeah, mine was built in March and I bought it in Mid October.

Don't forget window etching, catalytic converter etching, nitrogen filled tires, estimated DMV fees and the all loving DOC FEE. Dodge dealers in NJ charge $1000 DOC FEE which is god damn insane. You are paying them for doing business with you when you pay it. I attack that after I get a good offer from them, then I say, before I take that deal you need to knock another 1K off because that will be the credit for the insane DOC fee. I get booted most times but then I find a dealer that does not give a shit due to super mongo volume and I get what I want. Then I take it to my local Dodge dealer fro warranty and service work
they offered to etch the oil in the motor for me. Ony $19,995.00 more. Best investment I ever made they told me. LOL

Does anyone have an idea on what I should be paying for a 2024 Black RWD RT Premium with the Blacktop package? As I mentioned when I started this tread the MSRP was $62,555. They wanted $55,500 OTD with my sales tax being 3 percent and with title, registration so they are basically wanting $53,500 for the vehicle. They are only coming down a few hundred dollars from the $55,500 price.
As I mentioned above my 2024 Red Oxide RT Premium AWD w/TnG packs was under $52k plus tax and plates. Your's as a RWD w/No TNG package should be around 57. TnG adds $5k- $6k to the price.
