I enabled the DRL's in the uConnect. Started the car and the DRL'S were on. Switched on the low beams, and the DRL'S went out. The RT at the dealer 2 nights ago did the same thing when it was parked next to me.
How are your running lights staying on. There is nothing in the settings to keep them on.
I downloaded my build sheet and the lights are the same as yours.
Are you leaving the headlight switch set to auto?

Are you leaving the headlight switch set to auto?
My DRL's are not with the low beams no matter what I do. If I turn the headlights on manually the DRL's are off. The only way they are on at night is if the headlight know is at the DRL position. On auto with the box checked in the uConnect, the DRL's are on during the day with the setting on auto. With the setting on auto at night, headlights on DRL, off.
The 1st picture you show of your DRL makes them appear to cast a wide light range. Mine are no better than parking lights.
Not sure how yours are on all the time and fairly bright. Something is off on mine if that is the case.

I purchased a '24 GT Plus Blacktop in Octane Red 4 weeks ago as a replacement for my wife's '19 Charger.
I like everything about it except the headlights are absolutely horrible. They are the standard LED Projector lights. Depending on the position of the car on the road you see nothing above the car as in looking for deer or other things. On a flat stretch of road it seems like I can't see more than 100 feet in front of the car. I had the dealer raise them up but I'm not sure if there is any more adjustment left in the lights.
Going from the HID's of the Charger to these is like day and night.
Are any of you guys with these LED lights having the same issues or is there something wrong with the lights in my Durango.?
If there isn't much adjustemnt left in my lights, I am wondering how the HID's in the RT's and SRT's are. Do they shine farther down the road than these lights? If they are a lot better, I may have to step up and buy the RT's light assembly to improve not only the lighting but the overall safety of the vehicle. I may have to ask the dealer where I bought the Durango if I can try one of the RT's they have at night.
I thought the headlights in my '16 Ram were bad, but these are worse.
I am glad I am not the only one with this issue... I live in deer Country and I could not see them if they are there, or a bike or a person.. Been to dealership 3 times and was told it is normal..
My 2014 grand had the projecter and no issue... This scares me....
Anybody hear anything from dodge. I have a 23 rt.
Afraid to drive it at night...

Can either of you post some pictures like I did so we can all see what you are working with? Your 23 R/T headlights are LED projectors exactly the same as mine and you have driving lights. These lights destroy the prior years HID projectors in light output.

Hello all,
Finally got some pics.
You can see the void on a garage door.
But on roadways it's 100 times worse. A person or deer could be there and not see it.
I checked another Durango at the dealership and has the same issue.
Anybody have a path forward or an idea? Dealership has yet to get me any ideas or even all call back in 4 weeks.

If you have the same headlamps as my 2023 R/T TnG, then I agree. The beam pattern is wonky.

I grew up with E-code halogen headlamps in 7" and 5 3/4" round format. Those were great! Completely flat top to the low beam pattern with a kick up on the right side to catch signs and pedestrians. The high beam pattern was a central hot spot. Sadly, U.S. headlamp rules permit manufacturers to give us crappy beam patterns. The NHTSA has caught on and rates new cars for their beam patterns.

Never thought my headlights were an issue on 21gt with LEDs. If anything, I thought they were in the bright side with no blind spots. Sounds like the manufacturer might be cheaping out with components or build quality. Between all the deleted standard options, and more build issues, it's as if fca has given up on the newer Durango's. What a shame.

Thought I would give you guys an update on my headlight situation.
My dealer raised the headlights up. Said there was no more adjustment left. It helped some. A couple weeks ago the local shop I use for non warranty repairs took a look at them. They were able to raise them up a little more.
They now seem to be fine and are now better than my '16 Ram.
I feel the problem is resolved.

You need to explain HOW they "raise them up."

I wasn't there when the adjustment was done. I think they can go down through an opening above the light to get to the adjustment screw. They didn't charge me so it must be easy.
I've searched multiple times online for the instructions but couldn't find anything.
