Two hours ago I thought about your words, when I pulled the brakes -not even heavily- from 205 km/h down to 180 km/h - the Durango juddered and swerved as hell.

I think to contact the Durango-owner in the next village, who had -as you- thrown the factory brakes out and replaced them with Brembo-stuff.
I totally understand how you feel man. The factory brakes didn't really feel all that safe to me. It's a bit of a pricey upgrade, but totally worth it.

Sorry, no MOPAR and on the way to a non-MOPAR-event, but it was nice to see, that everyhing runs as fine as new in 1973.

It runs even better than ever, because the first owner, an old grampa, never drove that fast. So in the age of 25 years the car, when I bought it, needed the running-in circle as a new car.

Strange engine sound, somehow electric

That is so amazing. I remember cars from the 70s and 80s and 130mph was fast. Now an SUV is able to comfortably cruise at 180mph.

People sometimes look down on Dodge but I don't see any other SUVs that have similar performance characteristics.

The Lamborghini SUV might get to 150 before it blows up and the wheels fly off.

This was high end in the 70ies, the strongest serial sedan back then
