Congrats Moose!!
That's a 25k per year average. I guess "there ain't no grass growing under your feet" as Jethro C would say.
IIRC, that is on engine #2 from 175K onward correct?

How great would it be for the car manufactures to have to build vehicles that the drive train would be guaranteed for 250K. Please share the history of any other repairs good to hear its still running strong. Hopefully it can make it to 400K

Please share the history of any other repairs...
Checking my list...
  • Transmission cooler replaced - leaking connection
  • Steering rack replaced - leak
  • Motor mounts replaced - leaking
  • Radio head unit replaced - back up camera signal went out
  • Engine (V-6) replaced - at 175K miles, rod bearing failed
  • Right front CV joint
All of these were covered under the MaxCare lifetime warranty.

All told, maintenance (brakes, tires, etc.), repairs, misc. stuff, I've spent about $11K in service-related stuff, or about 4 1/2 cents a mile. Oh, and about the brakes - I got 209K miles out of the front brakes...
