Did they take away the backup camera guidelines on the 2022 Durango GT Plus. Had a mechanic tell me that they took it away, but not sure if he’s feeding me a line or not. The option is there for the guidelines but they don’t show up. My 2017 Durango had them. I don’t know why they would take them away. They helped me back in to parking spaces very easily!

In the settings of the Radio/Uconnect you can enable or disable them. Check your owners manual out, it explains this option in there!
I do have the options turned on for the guidelines. The mechanic at the dealership insists that they aren’t there in the newer Durangos. Then why would the option be there?? I’m thinking maybe it’s just a bigger issue or it’s an aftermarket camera that’s installed? I have no idea how to check that though.

Take it to the dealer. I am pretty sure there is a TSB for this problem. Also, your mechanic is a dope and I would find a new one.
