Hey everyone I just got the truck back from the bodyshop today. I was wondering if someone could shoot a couple shots of the front end with the hood up and the inside around the radiator front and back. Parts seem to be missing.

They said there was no parts for the front left and right of the radiator (I recall some plastic guards left and right of the forward radiator area.) Also I know there was a plastic guard on the lower radiator area so water doesn't go up into the engine (or to direct airflow.) Also I recall there was a lower radiator shroud section. I now have an electric fan, but they said there wasn't any to start with. I looked around for some pictures and it looks like it's supposed to be there. I'm not only questioning them, but some reasons are the 10+ months to get it done and the $9,100 bill I paid. I will say they do very good work and I've had over a dozen vehicles done there but they were so slow and this time I wasn't very impressed by the delivery. Did I mention NEVER pay anyone in advance, it was my last time doing that.

How much damage was on the truck?
Your D definitely had an electric fan and a lower shroud before!
Lets see some pics of the body damage before and after

I don't have pics of the damage before

It only needed a rear bumper cover, front bumper cover and all the front bumper brackets and main bumper beam. I bought the radiator, which it ended up not needing but we installed it anyways, also a radiator support. I paid for the ac condensor and tranny cooler front the dealer which it didn't need, but I wanted to replace. The truck has around 42k on it now.

I thought it was a little high myself

They always have done great work for me. Although I think that they take advantage of me. Everyone is in business to make money and I have no problem with that. Being in business myself I do know that if you don't charge enough and there's not enough profit to sustain, then it's no good for the client and business long term. There's a reason why companies are too cheap.

I truly understand that belief as my company charges a bit more than most others but we do the job right the first time in most instances?BUT that seems excessive. Did they supply the parts or did you if this was just labor that's a lot if it was labor and parts well then they marked up parts and then added labor.
As long as you're happy with the results and the workmanship that's good.
I do sense by your first post that you have a bit of buyers remorse!

Well not buyers remorse

I really look at it this way. I really don't care what price is, if I think it's a value (service) I'll pay it. That's also how my business works. I don't say I overcharge, but I charge for my services above the market value. It sets us apart from the competion. Service is the deciding factor in almost every proposal we submit. The ones who care only about price is really not my client anyways. A simple matter of you get what you pay for it true. I was mainly disappointment because I had higher expectations from past experiences from the shop. He normally exceeds my expectations, his work this time is no different. Yes I like to be catered to and I believe that's also parts of the price I paid. Yes I'll be going back to him on my next project. This time with the understanding that I want a due date and not 8 months after I was promised and paid for the project. Profit is what makes America a great place to do business!

May I ask what field you're in?
