Here is a link to the new map udate from Stellantis for the UC5
Good point... I have not updated my maps yet.Does this Download, USB, and Transfer make my maps live again? My maps work but no live congested road ahead notice (orange to red line), nor alternate route suggestions etc. It does show turn-by-turn directions as I travel. Did I lose the live congestion notices by not paying for UConnect or upgrading Sirruis NAV?
Upgrading the maps has restored functionality for many including new Jeep owners. it does not hurt and takes about an hour.Does this Download, USB, and Transfer make my maps live again? Thanks for the link. I was just able to update to 1/30/2024 release date map set. My 2023 came with an early 2022 version. Here is a link to the new map udate from Stellantis for the UC5
These are just map content updates, not firmware updates.....Howdie, just wondering if the latest 4/24 update is the dark theme map or are their options to change the map types/colours? I really hate the dark only theme that came installed with my new 2024 GT Plus.
Factory reset your radio. It will wipe everything out and start a clean slate on the new nav maps.Anybody had any issues with the 2025.03 update? After doing that (my sixth update) Nav crashes and reloads about every five minutes and the search function causes it to crash. Thinking it might have been a corrupted file or one not transferred correctly I down loaded it again, erased the flash drive, and made a new copy. Unfortunately it won't load it. I tried going back to the previous update but it wont't load that either. Have restarted the radio several times through settings. May have to wait for the next update.
I thought about that. Have to decide if I want to set everything back up including the Sirius or wait for the next update.Factory reset your radio. It will wipe everything out and start a clean slate on the new nav maps.

Well that turned out to be no big deal. Have to reload profile and settings but most were default anyway. Sirius reconnected quickly. The interesting thing is that it kept the last Nav update (or at least that's what it shows in version info) but now it's working fine. Lost my favorites and recents but again not a big deal. Those will re-accumulate. Have to sit down with the Sirius program card and reload presets.20 minutes of your time but record all your channels so you can easily program them right back in
or
wait until next year for a new map and deal with the broken nav which you paid for.
Good luck![]()
If the NAV reverted (it should not have) is most likely because the install was defective when you did it for whatever reason. Use Waze or Google Maps navigation as they are 1000 percent better then UC5 Navigation. Another thing that sucks is in MY23 UC5 was set to use pre-defined sms replies.
