The driver daytime running light as well as the side marker light on my wifes 2014 durango have gone out. As i understand it the only way to fix it is to replace the entire assembly, not really thrilled about spwnding $1K for a single headlight. My question is are the headlights keyed to the vehicle, in other words do you have to get dodge to access the computer to recognize the headlight before it will work. On a buddies 2020 camaro he went to replace a headlight and it is keyed with the vehicle vin and will not work with another vehicle until reset by chevrolet, just wondering if dodge did this back in 14, since these headlights have the active beam.
