I know this varies based on the shop you go to for the most part but I just got my 2017 R/T and I notice my steering wheel is pretty off-center. Probably because the dealership put new tires on but skipped the alignment. Should have been done at the time but any-who, I plan on going to my local dodge so if anyone's had 1 done recently, about how much am I gonna be spending?

What do new tires have to do with the steering wheel? I got an alignment a week before I put new tires on and my steering wheel never changed. I paid a $160 for mine.
I’ve never aligned a vehicle immediately before or after I get new tires and I’ve never once had an issue. This time just happened to be coincidence but it still didn’t make any difference.

Steering could be off if someone did the steering rack and forgot to center the wheel or leave it straight when they started. Is there abnormal wear on the front tires?

Simply installing new tires would not change the alignment. It sounds like they tried to do one, and did not do it right.
I believe that once the toe is set correctly, your wheel should be straight.

Here in SW FL at Bear, cost is between $80 and $200, depending upon time it takes on the rack.
Yeah in S. FL normally a 4W adjustment starts at $79 and goes up to $199. Depending on if its a one time or multiple year policy. Obviously any required accessories (shims, camber bolts, etc) like on some other cars would be additional.
Always get a before and after alignment print out too.
A lot of people will say get an alignment every 1-2 years, but if Tire wear is even, no pulling or drifting while driving and steering wheel is centered you really are good to go.

If the steering wheel is no longer centered, I suspect your toe-in is incorrect. An alignment will correct the off-center. When you bought new tires, did the dealer have an alignment machine? Most tire shops in my area do NOT offer alignment service. I guess they just want to sell more tires. If the tire dealer has an alignment rack, they typically offer a "courtesy" alignment check when buying new tires.
I have an appointment next week to get the alignment checked on my 23 DDR/T+. It has 7000+ miles. The local Firestone dealer (Altoona, PA) offers a lifetime 4-wheel alignment for $217.50. Lifetime tire balance/rotation is $69.96. Good at any Firestone dealer. I usually get my alignment and tires checked every 5K-10K miles. I need to confirm the frequency of the lifetime alignment.
I was able to get over 50K miles on my 2019 Grand Cherokee with factory Goodyear tires. Alignment/tire balance/rotation every 5K-6K miles.

Dies this vehicle have electric power assist steering? If so, I might be concerned about someone muscling the wheels left to right and vice-versa from under the car.
I've seen that cause issues on some cars with electric power steering before. Although, it would probably cause a code to pop if any damage was done from doing that.

Any national tire chain (Firestone / Goodyear) will offer a multi year alignment - yes- it costs more upfront, but if you let them do your oil changes, which normally includes a FREE tire rotation, you can have them check your alignment on EVERY visit (5000 miles). This will save you money AND tires in the long run. That being said, you want to do an alignment as soon as you pick up a vehicle because of the way they are strapped down for transport the alignment is ALWAYS off!!!!
