JULY 4th PARADE, Ridgewood NJ

With all the talk about the other events that are rapidly approaching, I wanted to remind everyone about another:

Ridgewood NJ has a big time parade every July 4th. I have already registered the club to participate (required a one year advance reservation.) This in addition to Carlisle will be an excellent exposure opportunity for the club.

After there'll be a barbecue at a location TBA.

Let me know if you can attend!!

I'd love to attend John, but it's just too close to the Carlisle event.

John,I could make it! :D

You line up at about 8am, (I'll be there that early to reserve a spot in line), the parade kicks off and then we're having a cook out (location tba.) You can stick around for the fireworks that night.

No hassles from the local P.D., and the age group varies. A parade is usually a family event so all are welcome!!

Just like Carlisle, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure for the club. There are ltterally thousands of people lined up on the sideline watching the procession.

Hope this helps!!

John, if you come up with a meeting place, could you let me know a little ahead of time?I'll be coming from upstate ny and it'll take me about 4 hours to get there.this way I'll have an estimate on what time to leave.thanks :D

Ditto for me John. I'm about 2-1/2 hrs away. Maybe Don and I can Caravan down if the timing is right.

Folks, Being that Carlisle is so close to the 4th, I need to know exactly how many are going to participate in the parade.

I'd like to see at least 8-10 trucks. If we can't get to that number it may not be beneficial to do it.

Please let me know by month end (May.)

Thanks!!

John,is it still on for us and the parade?

Dunno, so far there's only three potential attendees, you, me, and Joe. If we don't get to 8-10 then it may not be worth it. We need to represent the club strong to get the proper exposure we're looking for.

I figured this may be a problem since Carlisle is right after it.

Need to know who's coming by month end.
