It's a cool morning in Miami 66.

Wife started the DD and got a low tire light (L/F)?

Cluster says inflate to 33 but I checked, and all were at 33-34? I keep my psi 35-36 so not sure what is going on? DD only has 9K...

There is no reset like in my Audi, so I am assuming the TPS self corrects, but this is very strange?

It might correct itself.

Or, you might have to temporarily inflate the tire to 36-37 psi, then drive it for a while until the TPSM sees the new pressure, then lower the pressure back to your normal pressure.

Anytime you take an analog value, such as a tire pressure, and use it to turn a binary value on or off, there will be some hysteresis in the decision. IOW, the warning (a binary value) may come on when the tire pressure goes below 32 psi (the setpoint), but not go off until the tire pressure goes above a dead band, let's say 35 psi. This keeps the binary value from cycling on and off if the pressure is right at the setpoint.

On mine (2014 Limited) the recommended pressure is 36psi all around. The warning light will come on when it goes below 30psi, but will stay on until it gets back up to 36.

Ok Wife just got home and with the tires HOT there are no more warning signs. It's also 80 degrees outside.

This is what was on the cluster. As recommended, I just set them all HOT at 37 and will check readings tomorrow morning. I am going to be honest, my Audi which is much more sophisticated and advanced than then the R/T is easier to monitor/reset air pressure. HECK even my old 911S wasn't as finicky with tire air pressure as the DD.

It’s back….

65 degrees this morning and DD has R/R low tire warning. L/F is the same psi but no warning?

Whats interesting is I checked all the tires recently and they all were 35 psi.

I am almost at 10k miles, so due for the second oil change and tire rotation, balancing & alignment check. I will bring it up to them…

Its fluctuating too much to be accurate... I have a digital gauge which works off my air compressor, but I mostly use a Milton old school tire gauge. All my other cars are accurate, I check them every 2-weeks or when I fill up with gas or wash them...

Its something to do with the Dodge Telemetrics... she's due for service at the dealer and tire shop. I will have them check it out.
