You can order the TnG package with the standard R/T. I would go for that if I was in the market for a new Durango.

So as of now Dodge has 2 vehicles for 2024. Durango and Hornet.
All Stellantis has brought to the table so far has been excessive price increases....not a fan at the moment.
Thinking the same thing...

We know the Durango is dead after 2024. We also know it'll be replaced by the Stealth for 2025. It'll probably get the Pentastar (possibly an eTorque variant) and the S.O. Hurricane I-6 (420hp/468lb-ft - Wagoneer numbers) for the R/T. An "SRT" could get the high-output Hurricane (510hp/500lb-ft - Grand Wagoneer numbers). It's possible they go with the even higher output Hurricane for an SRT trim (550hp/531lb-ft - The HurriCrate Cat3 numbers).

Where I'm confused is why there isn't a 2024 Charger/Challenger. That Electric... thing... won't likely see production until 2025+. So what are they doing to fill the gap? They sell a combined 140k of those vehicles per year. That's a pretty significant revenue drop for the brand if there is no stop-gap option.

The 5 Ps. Proper planning prevents poor performance. Dodge missed that somewhere. I guess they would rather lay people off than continue to make money to pay them with.

Clearly they are re-tooling Windsor for the new charger...that I get, but seems it will sit idle for a long time before the new Charger is being produced. I think they are scrambling to put the I-6 TT in it as the sales of BEV's are not showing the huge increase the pundits predicted. No way a BEV Charger will replace the sales of the current Charger/Chally.

As of right now, it won't let you configure Tow n Go with the Blacktop package.
The '23 Hornet one was broken for the longest time.

I'm not sure why Stellantis has not shoved the Hurricane in everything. There is no good reason there is not a Hurricane option for every model Jeep Grand Cherokee and Gladiator/Wrangler.

Besides the Blacktop package being unavailable with the TNG package, I also see the following:
  • The rear diffuser/valance is now body color with the TNG package.
  • The front LED driving/fog lights are gone.

I think the preview images are not accurate. The Hellcat, for example, comes with adaptive cruise but the Builder preview doesn't show it.

I know why, at least for the JL/JT... warranty and product liability. It's why there was never even a 5.7L option. The J9 (JL with the 392) was largely a failure across the board, and they barely sold.

I'm curious what they'll do with the 1/2 ton trucks and the Hurricane. I always thought it was a shame you couldn't get the 6.4 in a 1/2 ton. Maybe they'll do an HO Hurricane option, though.

I looked deeper into it before I posted. If you go through all of the standard features you’ll notice LED fog lamps are now missing under the lighting tab whereas they are called out in the 2023’s.

Also:
2023 Window Sticker for a GT Premium calls out the LED fog lamps:
Here's a 2024 with no mention of the fog lamps anymore:

I read the 2024 brochure and Dodge is now using HID headlamps in the R/T, CItadel and the GT Plus trim has LED headlamps

I still see the following in standard features of all R/T trims:
  • Bi-Function LED Projector Headlamps
