Hi guys. i just bought 2023 durango srt 392 and the guy at dodge told me that i could upgrade the engine to tier 1 or tier 2 without voiding the waranty . have you heard of that? and is it worth? gaining hp or a better exhaust sound?
thanks for your answers.

It's a thing.

Most of the kits are for the Challenger/Charger and the Durango Hellcat. Unless they have updated their catalog, I did not see 1 engine performance kit or upgrade for the 392.....

Might be a Mopar intake and cat-back exhaust kit but I don’t see anything Durango specific either.

Very cool catalog…

The "power broker" designation and the hype is for power upgrades to the 6.2 motors. The excitement is because the dealers will provide manufacturer warranty to the upgrades. basic 392 mods have been available through mopar for many years.

There was never much in that catalog for the 392's & what little there was seemed to be for the Challengers & Chargers (tho it would likely work on the Durango's as well).
I don't believe the promised "Stage Kits", while listed, were ever actually released. The stage 1 & 2 kits for the 6.2L motors did get released a while back.

The true last Stage Kits were for the 5.7 and were introduced in 2014. I had the Stage One installed on my 2014 Shaker then decided to go the forced induction route. they had Stage 1,2 & # back in the day. It would take your 5.7 to 425 HP.

That's a shame, I'd bet they would have many more takers today on the 5.7 kits.... I'd probably be one.:p
