Hey all! I know that this discussion has been beaten pretty badly without a lot of results outside of finding a good exhaust shop to add straight pipes or x pipe or full catback system. I have an 2018 RT that has a full SRT 2.75” exhaust including cats and manifolds right now. I’m getting ready to put ARH headers with 3” catted midpipes on. My issue is that I need to go from 3” to 2.75” at the midmuffler. My question is, has anyone tried to replace the midmuffler with 2 offset in/offset out mufflers so that there’s no need to bend pipes or very little since 3” pipe doesn’t like to be bent nicely? I have reducers to make up the difference in pipe diameter but I don’t see being able to put them at the front of the stock midmuffler and make it work. I also can’t afford a full catback system right now. TIA

Who said 3" doesn't bend nicely?

Another option would be to modify an existing mid pipes. I took a mustang kooks h pipe and made it work. It's also for sale if interested.
would it bolt up to ARH 1 7/8” long tube headers? And what exactly would that do? Does that extend the pipes more towards the center?? And, anything that says Ford always gives me bad feelings and I’d worry about it breaking all the time.!! Lol

I had it on my 15 RT, it bolted up to the oem mid pipes in place of the suitcase and connected to the SRT tail pipes out the back.

And in my defense, all it says is Kooks... so it's made for a Ford, not by Ford
