Hello,

Does anyone know a good performance shop in Central Florida or near here? Wanting to look at some upgrades from my Durango SRT but also want to ensure the shop I take it too has a proven track record and tuner that knows Mopars.

Update: Found a good shop and owner name is Jesse. He works with Gearhead Fabrications from Jenson, Florida. The shops name is Spiker Motorsports and address is here: 413 Oak pl St 3P, Port Orange, FL, United States, Florida . Let me know if anyone finds a closer shop to Orlando.

Does he have a proven track record modifying and tuning the GEN3 DD? Let me know I am in S. FL.
He has been working on Mopars along with Mustangs but do see he has a good track record in modifying performance vehicle. Here is his Facebook page: Spiker Motorsports. Maybe send him a instant message and discuss what you'll like to do with your Durango.

His rep is not so good lately on the Hellcat forums, so I'd proceed with caution !!

THX I will keep looking...

I can do most of the mechanical work myself, it's the tuning and custom fabrication that I will farm out to a professional.

I am just like you just that the turning will take a bit for me to do it. I will need a professional to do it for me. Also, did hear that folks take their vehicles to Gearhead Fabrications down in Jenson beach. Waiting to hear back from them as well.

There is American muscle performance in pompano beach.

I don’t know anything about them but did see a heavily modified JGC SRT at cars & coffee and they did the work on it.

Just another potential option…

Thank you. I posted the same question on Reddit and someone mentioned to me about these folks: American Muscle Performance & Demon Performance is in S.Carolina. But that is out of state as well.

Do you have a link to this post about his rep? Want to ensure wont be taking my car to his shop if things are not going great.
Didn't really keep track of specific threads, just picked up on comments on the quality of their work declining from various east coast FL guys.

I did a bit of poking around myself last fall when I was looking into possibly modding the R/T, but there was nothing in west central FL. Seemed to be a few in SE FL and in Tampa and even better choices up north, but was not interested in that. I got involved in a heavily modded car once before, and it's a real PITA if the shop is not fairly close. When something goes wrong or needs tweaking (and it will no matter who did the work) do you really want a 2+ hr drive to the shop and/or have to flatbed/transport it back ??

Great to know, and yes seems like the more experience and quality of work is being done either in South Florida, or now out of state.
