Do the factory center caps fit the wheels?
Yes, matter fact I forgot to swap them at first, then I used the gorilla tape method to pop the aftermarket ones off easy, and snapped the SRT caps on , interesting thing is the aftermarket caps did not fit the factory wheel?! , they just fell through?! But the factory caps did fit the wheels no issues , that’s also stated on their website “ center cap’s are interchangeable”

Did you have to cut the fenders with the wider wheels and lowering it down? i seen a video where a guy said he was told he’d have to cut his fenders and quarters in order to lower the truck without tires rubbing. idk how true that is

Ok so, if you want to tuck your wheels inside the fenders front and rear, you would have to cut or trim the inner part of the fenders and maybe even roll them before installing the Widebody kit, it can be done with some fab work, but I did not go that route, with bags Installed I lower it enough to hover on the fender 1-2mml etc, now for the front I have AAD adjustable control arms with the -3 Tabs, those tabs are sold separate by the way, they give the car nice front camber, with a bit of inner fender trimming I can tuck the fronts, but it was never my intent, although airing out looks cool, but I’m fine with the way it is now. Here is a pic lowered for instance but not aired out completely. 1-2mml from the fender. Because if I air out all the way the fender will sit on the tires and the wide body kit will stretch, so I avoided that.

so with just the eibach lowering springs i won’t need to cut anything? the wider 20x11’s won’t rub the flare? ok thanks for the quick reply bro i appreciate it!

one more question, did you in fact need the parking sensor extension or did it have enough length to reach the hole in the new fender flare?

oh this is important, you cannot simply extend the parking sensors, the only solution we did was cut part of the bumper out, it sucks but if you do not do it, the flare will not close/seal on the bumper, because the sensors position sticks out direct on the bumper pushing the flare out, even Vicrez poorly design this part, other companies like Weido fixed this issue by reducing the flares size when it comes to the parking sensors, which I don’t like the look but solves the problem, you can always revert back by welding the cutout ABS/plastic sensors brackets back to the bumper and painting it, but to have it working properly , you have to cutout a circle or square or whatever on the bumper itself where the sensors are, this way when you snap the sensors on the Vicrez flares, the sensors sticks in side the bumper area where you cutout, making the flare sit flush, here is some pics for a better understanding.

ok, just wanted to make sure the factory cord for the sensor was long enough

100% last question😂 your tires didn’t rub the fenders once you lowered it and put the wider rim on? you didn’t mention it so i’m guessing it didn’t, just curious. sorry for all the questions i’ve ordered everything just want to make sure before i put it all on

on springs i never rubbed, and i went bags because i thought i was too high, but i did have adjustable suspension from Bwoody and AAD , the alignment helped. so on springs not even close, now on bags i adjust to my liking different presets. i like it

Hey i got my kit on, just wondering did you use that 3m tape they provided or mount it to the body a different way? i’m not liking the 3m bond
i have explained this in many other posts. 3M tape sucks and wont work, either you do some strong silicone adhesive or silicon and custom brackets mount on the car period, i tried everything and eventually went to a shop and cut the fenders because I'm on bags (you don't have to), and they used brackets plus silicone to hold it in and it is like OEM look now.

I love ur setup on your Durango! It looks amazing, i currently have a Durango RT and was wondering if you have any suggestions on power upgrades? I currently have some interior mods like star lights, subs, and a pedal commander. But looking to start on the body and power upgrades. I’m trying to get the same rims and lowering springs it looks like a must need!

NO longer on Springs although i recommend them, i went with a full airlift system and cut the fenders, brackets for the widebody and its permanent now. turned it into more of a show car. as for power ill wait till warranty ends or later on,( did not even reach 5k miles on this thing ) 6-11k can get you around 1000HP, heck you can do it under 10k for sure. and for the 5.7L i would do Bolt ons and a tune. and if you got money to shed get a Whipple then go on form there.

I have a v6 limited, I have it lowered 3 inches with the vicrez wide body kit. What would be my best bet on wheels and detention in wheels, and would I be better off with an 18 in wheel so I don't have to go with a lower profile tire, roads around here suck

Here are some updates on the widebody, we should be done tomorrow with the body, there is one thing to know, I did cut the bumper a bit ( sensor area ) , the sensors will not just fit under the new wide front flare, its positioned in such a way that when you push the flare back to the body the sensor will block it from pressing in and closing the gap, because the sensor is positioned vertically . and the new bracket on the flare is design the same way the OEM bumper is, even in Vicrez you-tube video tutorial, they actually just left the sensor on the stock OE bumper, which looks weird and said something that didn't explain how to solve this issue, add an extension?! . not planning on going back to stock so I do not care, and I can put those cuts back in and the body shop said they can always fix it. "IF" I ever go back ( I'm not lol )
Do you think twenty's will fit with that?Body kit and lowered three inches without rubbing
