Here's a relist on a nice 2000 D R/T with a supercharger and real low miles (54k.) While he's priced a bit high IMHO, it looks really kool. To the untrained eye, one may think it's snowskull's D but it's not. It's close, real close, but not the same. Stripes are dif, the SC and the body kit are different brands.

I wonder why the Paxton Novi Supercharger's metal parts look pitted?

Anyone know the brand of the 'step-sides'/side body kit he has on there? I like 'em!

It's a MA vehicle and I'd say the pitting of the aluminum parts is from winter road salt. Hummm, I don't know that bumper cover.

Another reason other than Salt and road use, Its the non polished unit and someone most likey sprayed engine Brite or Simple Green on it oxidizing it all up.
I'm willing to bet it has sat a lot!

I know it's spread around the internet that Simple Green shouldn't be used with aluminum parts. I can tell you that I have been using it for years and have had no issues with it on aluminum parts. I also used Engine Brite and other spray degreasers. I can tell you DO NO USE GREASED LIGHTNING ON ALUMINUM PARTS. It'll F them up and discolor badly. The parts on that vehicle are corroded (pits on the aluminum surface) The cleaners generally don't cause corrosion but may discolor.

That's a sharp looking D! I have a few questions?

What kind of life can be expected from the Paxton S/C? How much boost does it run? What's the HP/torque gain? What kind of mpg would you get compared to a stock 5.9? Do you have to run 91 octane?

Just curious.

Nice Ride Though!

I like that base color! :D

If you look at the second pic from the end of the Inductive Boost Retard you'll see rust on the bolts. Then look at the solenoid switch to the left of it.

See the dirt buildup on it? Seems the owner never really kept the engine compartment clean to me. They cleaned it up for the pics but the dirt and lack of cleaning took it's toll already.

This is 10min from my house if anyone needs someone to take a closer look?
