Try holding the power off and turn on on again for a reset. Mine did the same thing. I can't remember if that's what did it or if it was a factory reset. Factory reset helped with other issues I had such as NAV not knowing my location and was going all over the place.

It's in the settings.

After the factory reset my system booted up in a generic state. A soft reboot cleared it up (hold the round "off" and "scroll" buttons down until the screen goes blank.

I get it every morning in my 2021 R/T whether in the garage or not.

I spent most of today driving almost completely problem free (hiccup with wireless CarPlay one time but I think it was my phone to blame since I had Bluetooth off when I got in) and I haven’t seen the Uconnect error at all since the new update. 😞

I actually like the generic theme better. I wish it was an option. Dark with a nice blue hue, and highlights instead of the shit grey highlights on the "real" theme.

Well trying to update the maps to 9/22 version was a freaking nightmare. If you recall, I had the maps updated and the new UC5 firmware blew them out to a year older set of maps. The screen sat on loading maps for 1.3 hours AFTER it updated. Rebooted and it asked for the USB again and same crap. I factory reset the system and holy shit, I got some blueish color theme with no other themes available except for Auto Theme mode, Light or Dark. Checked an hour later and same thing. No brand icons for the profile avatars either, just color (red/white) and animals. Also auto climate was busted and stuck on lo but blowing out super heat not matter what I did. When I would reboot the system it flashed temp was set at 127 degrees even though it was stuck on LO. I factory reset AGAIN and finally the system looked OK (2 themes, no auto manual theme mode) and I tried the map update again and this time it worked. So I have the latest UC5 shitzpa firmware and the latest maps. Still no helmet heads and that large gray pop up after changing themes might tell us something if it is WAS NOT BLANK.

One very cool fix is the Tune Start for Sirius is working again (how long, who knows). I am done screwing with it unless a new version comes out to fix my helmet need.

Has anyone checked to see if the HP and TQ gauges are now accurate especially for the R/T models? I will check tomorrow but something tells me no.

I just got done installing the update in my 21DDSRT. I dont have any of the blue/gray in the dashboard at all. Under the theme settings, I now have 3 choices, with theme 2 being the only one with the helmets in the climate screen. Under the vehicle tab, it now says dashboard instead of performance. I am about to take a little ride, so I will see if I can find other things different..Oh, and I dont have an option for the light/dark\/auto theme setting

Another thing I think is new, there are built in video tutorials. Of course everything is so damn hard to find , seems the Uconnect software team does not have any human factors specialist on board.

I really think after the update and you do a favtory reload, it can (and did to me) load settings from another model like the Pacifica. The theme auto, light and dark mode was something I think I had in my 2015 Ram with UC4. I would love to get my hands on the crap sdk they are using.

I noticed that on my media screen, the rear video tab will not show the menu, unless i go to the settings page, then back to the media page. There is also a new setting for screen permissions. I have no idea what this does...

Was your weather app working before the update? Ours has never worked. 2022 RT plus TNG. Ordered in July '22, received Aug '22.

The 1st 8 months of ownership it worked maybe once or twice a month then failure to connect to the satellite.
Then all of a sudden it has been rock solid since December 21. Maybe 4 or 5 glitches since then but nothing that remotely causes me grief.

@tchr31 where are you in the US? Maybe your area is having satellite issues or Tom Tom is being stupid? That was the issue I had because there was never any update and it started working all of a sudden.

I am in Texas. Have been thinking of trying the update but can't make up my mind.

I don't understand. I've checked the stellantis website, put in my vin and it says no updates available. Is this update everyone is using an unofficial version or something?
