just verified the helmets are present and accounted for on S26.17. (I did a reset and deleted/created a new profile yesterday)

OK, so a reset is necessary. Awesome news. Wish we had a truly black theme though.

It just gets you the latest map updates, road changes, POI, don't know if any software changes to the product were made.

Just saw this posted by a 2023 owner, I bet it’s the same thing for this software, I didn’t have the default theme on my old profile and I do on my current profile. When I switch between valet and normal it always used the default until my profile had loaded completely so if this is true I was seeing helmets sometimes and not other times using the non default theme.

Weird quirk I noticed, if I change the visual theme to anything other than the default, the helmets disappear from the passenger heads (under comfort screen).

That's hows it's always been on my 2021 TNG. One theme has helmets. The other doesn't.

I swear I had helmets before on the older software but to be honest I don’t tend to look at that screen ever so maybe it’s always been like this. 🤔

So I factory reset. and now I get the service uconnect on EVERY start!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you typically start your car up in a covered garage? I seem to get the warning more often when my antennas don't have line of sight to the sky. But maybe that's just a pipe dream.

Have you tried updating it harder? Man I’m sorry that sucks. The cert should update on its own after a few restart cycles I think. Might be an antennae/connection problem though

I have performance pages.

Mines a T&G not an SRT.

It's also weird that the little "//" are missing on the temperature sliders.

Instead I have red boxes around the temp setpoint.

And I have the more "tame" font.

Really dumb

I had all that before on 17.9x
