Good evening everyone, so I decided to go on a trip to the boardwalk today but turned into a disaster.. (note my Durango had no buildup to this whatsoever and no small symptoms) was driving when suddenly the truck made a weird jolt and almost died when i came to a stop, turned it on and off and went right back to working fine. So I tried making my way back home when it did the same thing but this time wouldn’t turn over and threw the P0443 code. I did some research and found it could be a couple things but none of them sound like my situation, most are still able to drive. I haven’t looked at it yet but did get it towed to my mechanic. Any suggestions what it could be?? Ill also add when it did first die made a very weird burning smell almost like power steering fluid or oil, when the check engine light is not cleared it takes a good hold of the key to turn over, i know there’s alot of you guys with knowledge on here so shoot away with what could be going on

I just got a remanufactured from Flashmasters in CIncinnati for $249 with no exchange and preprogrammed plug and play. I installed a 1 gallon Zip Lock freezer bag over the ECM and its connections.
I looked for someone local to rebuild mine and there was nothing available so i just went new for the warranty, found one at a scrapyard through dodge and they wanted almost 600 bucks for no warranty whatsoever
