The tranny might need a reflash. Others may know if this was a warranty recall or there is a TSB on it.

P0732 could be an issue with the trans itself.
Possible Causes
CLUTCH A
CLUTCH B
CLUTCH E
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)

There are a few TSBs but none with the symptom you describe. Closest would be a harsh bump from 2-1 downshift.

BTW the diagnostic steps are as follows, and if none of those fix the problem it is recommended that the valvebody should be replaced.

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID CONDITION
Check the Transmission fluid condition.

CHECK WIRING AND CONNECTORS
The conditions necessary to set the DTC are not present at this time.
Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors specific to this circuit.
Wiggle the wires while checking for shorted and open circuits.
Check for any Service Bulletins that may apply.

I did have something like that happen on My 2014 R/T not sure of the code was your engine light staying on ?
Same thing would pull over re start then it would shift fine only happened 3 times from 90 k to 134K

Any one able to solve this problem? Mine is doing the same thing here. Gets stuck in a random gear after hard shifting in the next gear or I'm coming to stop it hard shifts down then gets stuck in gear. I have 3 codes P0732 gear 2 incorrect ratio, P1D96 manufacturer control, P1D93 manufacturer control. I believe these are all related. Any one have these codes? And able to solve?

P0732
Possible Causes
CLUTCH A
CLUTCH B
CLUTCH E
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)

P1D96
Possible Causes
INCORRECT TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL
TRANSMISSION - INTERNAL COMPONENTS

P1D93
Possible Causes
TRANSMISSION - INTERNAL COMPONENTS

You can find the diagnostic steps here.

BTW look thru the TSBs for your year as there are usually several known transmission related issues listed.

Awesome! Thanks for that info I got some direction to start. I think I'll start with replacing the TCM. If I install this would any programming be needed?
I would start by checking the trans fluid level.

As for the TCM replacement, it is part of the valve body.

As for TCM programming only thing you could do when swapping with another is the quick-learn/adaptation with software like alfaobd...maybe diagFCA, or HP tuners.

FWIW I recently changed my trans fluid (~90kmiles) and swapped in this aftermarket pan and filter per a member's recommendation. Holds an extra quart of fluid and trans runs cooler by about 10F. In fact, it took a while for it to get up to temp.
