My 2015 Citadel 130K miles has developed a problem with the right paddle shifter. when in Manual mode you go to upshift it may decide to down shift to a lower gear until you toggle the paddle agin. other times you can keep pulling the paddle and the gears may go down or up or up and down and if you keep pulling in rapid pulls it may simply start shifting up as if the pulled were stored in Memory. the left paddle is fine on downshifts. dealer has no idea, I've shown them the video of it having a mind of its own.any thoughts.

My uneducated guess is that there is a connection issue. Worn, or maybe broken connector or something like that.

Just replace it. It's obviously bad.

Bad switch in the paddle shifter. Replace the paddle switch assembly. Or if you're handy, you can disassemble the paddle and replace the limit switch with one from DigiKey. I had same problem a couple years ago and it took me 20 minutes to replace. More here.

Switch is an easy swap if you’re reasonably DIY adept.
