Hi All,

mom my 2014 Durango 3.6 Limited. For some reason when I fill air to 36psi and manually check it’s shows 36psi but on the dash it shows 37/38 psi
Do I need to reset something or replace the sensors?

No check engine lights have ever come on and a scan with my Autel Scanner shows no logged errors either.
Thanks in advance

To be honest, I would not worry about 2 lbs, but I would get another tire gauge to just make sure you are getting an accurate reading.
Perhaps I should test using another gauge just to be sure. There so many out there which one to trust is a toss of a coin as well

Nothing is accurate unless you spend the money! I can tell you my liquid filled air gauge is accurate and my Durango is within +.5lbs across all 4 tires which is perfectly fine. Basically the Dodge TPM devices are pretty accurate for what they are but always use a high quality accurate gauge and rely on that.

True That...

Awesome. Thanks a lot I appreciate the response. I will give it a shot. Even the air pump I have is so useless all of a sudden so now that I think about it that could also be an issue

Don't forget that temp greatly impacts pressure readings, if you're checking/adding air cold, and checking TPMS after driving a while.

On my 2014 the TPS has always registered 1-2 PSI lower than actual pressure in the tire. In my opinion, the dash display is really more of an idiot light then anything else; for those people that don't pay attention to their vehicle maintenance and warn them of impending doom since most of them have no idea what the correct pressure should be anyway.
