I recently bought a 2022 Dodge Durango R/T Tow N Go AWD, roughly a month ago, and from all the video reviews from YouTube, all of them sound great with their stock exhaust. However, mine sounds nothing like that, mine has no type of growl to it at all. I’m more than confused as to why. I understand there are different bells and whistles within this trim i.e. Speakers, Sunroof, Interior, etc… BUT THE EXHAUST… on an R/T!? Also, I’m coming from a Challenger R/T, so I definitely miss the growl. Anyone know why this is, or did I buy a dud?

Mine has a nice aggressive growl in stock form. Not sure what's going on with yours. Maybe the factory inadvertently installed a regular R/T exhaust on yours.

My TnG has a nice growl to it with the high performance exhaust the package has. Not sure why your's wouldn't seem like there's none at all. Even in sport mode where it holds the RPMs higher?

I definitely have to look further in to it, because it’s too quiet for an R/T. I thought maybe a break-in period would change that, but it’s still too quiet.

Even in Sport Mode it doesn’t give that type of growl. I wish I could upload a video so y’all can hear how it sounds. I’ll definitely be calling the dealership to see if it can be swapped out, cuz there definitely should be some growl to it.

Any way you can attach a vid from behind at start-up? I came from a 2013 Crew to my 22 TnG and its night and day difference, I love the sound, especially in 'Sport' mode. Was your Challenger exhaust modded?

Are you sure you have the Tow N Go vs an R/T with Tow package ? Post up your sticker or build sheet and pictures of the brake calipers

Mine had a nice tone from the factory-but I replaced with a Corsa system-the factory exhaust has a pinched spot just behind the “suitcase“ which basically cuts the flow diameter in half …. The Corsa is milder at idle and a beast with your foot in the throttle!

Just making sure your window sticker shows the Tow N Go model and not the R/T with tow package. The Tow N Go has an active exhaust system called High Performance Exhaust.

Like the rest of the guys said- make sure it is a tow n go and not just a R/T w/ a tow package and the SRT wheels. I wanted more torque so I took my '21 to the local exhaust shop and replaced the mid muffler with a custom H pipe-- extremely happy with the way mine sounds. I do need to get some things addressed though-- the back of my front passenger seat is coming off and I recently realized I don't have the ventilated seats that I SHOULD have. There are no buttons for it on the dash for one and for two, I don't even know if the seats have the fans built into them or not. I haven't really messed with the heated seats. Everything else seems to be working correctly.

Because the seat back is coming off I would suggest that someone swapped seats in it. But you didn't say what your ride is so we can't tell if you should have ventilated or not. Put your vehicle specs in your signature so we know what you have when you ask a question.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

I went back and looked at the window sticker for mine. My sticker doesn't actually have the ventilated seats listed and I thought that was part of the TNG package for '21? I must've looked at the packages wrong... I guess. I also have the premium interior group so maybe it was the package that gives you the sunroof? I didn't want a hole cut in the roof so I opted NOT to order that one.
