Amazing how fast it can all come apart isn't it! I kinda feel like a baseball team. Build it all up, win the big prize, then dismantle it the following season.

If ya still got the FSM/DIAGNOSTICS books, I'll take them.

PM sent, thanks

I'd like the AIRRAID CAI or the K&N Drop in Air Filter. I'm hesitant which set up to go with. I'd like the CAI but don't think it'd be worth it with my stocker TB; The next best thing would be the K&Ns. How easy is to clean the filter and will I notice much difference with the greater air volume with performance and gas mileage? I'd need whichever is the better of the 2 for fit my 4.7

TIA.

You'd notice some benefit with either of them. Personally I was running that Airaid tube, stock box, and the K&N dropin filter. I got the rest of the CAI setup to use when at the track. The drop in on the left in the picture was the one I was using since I got the truck. You'd need to get a kit for cleaning and re-oiling the filter when the time comes, but it's very easy to do.

these k&n isn't the same part number, will this fit the 4.7L? If so I'm down for the better fitting filter.

They actually both fit with the 4.7. The one on the left is a little thicker than the one on the right. On the right was my backup for when I cleaned the one on the left, but they both fit fine. I never even looked at the part numbers before, I bought them both on eBay, or through one of the forums, don't really remember.

good idea for swapping during changes? takes a long time to dry? I'll take the thicker then and just drop in an old filter when cleaning. Wonder if the changing of the filter media will screw with the 'puter too much? one or 2 days wouldn't hurt. Will leave the neg off the terminal for awhile so can relearn for more air. I have PayPal if you'd like to pm me.

Ray what are those traction bars for? What do they do?

They're universal for leaf spring vehicles. Supposed to help prevent wheel hop, I had them on a very short time but never really got to try them out at the track. That was the main reason I put them on, last time out was a tire spinning nightmare!

Are the clear corners still available?

I just looked at them again, are you selling just the CORNERS, or the whole assy? I'm really looking for headlights as mine are all clouded up.

Thanks
