Taking my Durango in on the 9th for rotors and the seat heating module.
They asked if I am leaving it and I said nope, I will wait :D
Maybe I will buy the SRT they got in! LOL

Keep your fingers crossed for me and of course, I will report back what transpires.

I have an appointment on 1/5 for the seat heating module. Made the appointment 8 weeks ago to secure a loaner.

My dealer asked if I wanted a loaner and I said no, I will wait the 1.5 hours for the truck to be done.
I am not going through another, oops we did not get to it today.

I just put mine into the dealer this morning for several things including the seat heat control module. Let's see if they figure it out, considering I told them what the problem is.
I explained to the Service writer and Service manager the deal with the heated seats. They both looked at me like I am nutz especially since their ACE tech (ripped pants and cowboy boots) said NTF last year. I told them put it in, if it does not make the medium heat work, I will pay for it myself but it better be the D version.

These dealers who fail to send their techs to school to learn how to fix this stuff need to understand that the Internet is real and fixes are found by owners such as this.I think Mother Mopar should require a dealer have a certain about of salaried techs to handle warranty work. If not, our vehicles will always be worked on by tire jockeys and oil slingers.

I wonder if Mercedes, Acura, Lexus and BMW have the same level of technician capabilities (or lack there of) as Mother Mopar?

Regardless of brand I have found the 'locally/family owned' dealerships provide the best service & seem to have the most consistent/happy staff.

I've 'lost' 2 Infiniti & 2 Dodge dealerships to conglomerates. All had great service & people, but turned to crap within a year of being bought out.
Jenkins bought my fav Dodge dealership the beginning of the year and has turned over the sales staff, all the SR's and many of the mechanics. You now get a complementary wash but the actual service competence has turned to 💩 !

Wow Dodge can't even project the release of the Hornet unless it hits dealers lots in 3 days.

2023 DODGE HORNET

AVAILABLE Q4 2022
YAWN - you're not missing anything ;)

The R/T version can't even hit sub 6 second 0-60MPH. I guess if you want a pocket rocket, the Corolla GR is the thing to buy. Looks like a super amount of fun.
Yeah, plus they 'stole' the GLH moniker to boot which pizzles me off !
I owned a GLH back in the day & I'm pretty sure I'd rather have my old one back rather than their new POS warmed over Alpha dukey !!

I use a "big dealer" that bought out the start up years ago, and they kept the staff, and have a light touch. I'd be curious If anyone else has good thigs to say about Mile One...

A turd with wheels, it looks like every other KIA/Subaru/Nissan/Lexus/Toyota crossover had an orgy and made this.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I give it 5 out of 5 barfs

Hey FCA/Stellantis Eurotards, keep the Durango and fire those idiot programmers, ditch the silly turdmobiles with batteries too.

Sorry to dogpile on this one, but I just had to offer my observation. Produced by a merger between something French with something Italian, I thought that they stole the Hornet monker from the old American Motors, but then I realized it's pronounced "HORNAY".

Surprise, surprise... they said, seat "seat heat is working to within 1 degree of factory spec". I went in and lit the service writer a new one. He agreed to take a ride with me and try the middle setting for himself. To his amazement, the seats didn't make any heat !!! Just like I told them when I dropped it off. D module ordered, should be in stock 3-5 days. Still no luck finding a problem with the rear left suspension clunk/thump noise. But it's definitely documented under warranty now.

Hey... don't be too upset... Factory Spec for middle seat heating is ambient air temp.... so they were right on the money!!!
