All fixed now. Service department said the bolt “dropped out of the locktite”. But there was no locktite on the threads. Anyway, it is back in.
Done/solved.
So just checked FSM and there is no mention of using loctite on bolts. Reason I checked is because I installed a PPE aftermarket aluminum pan (holds +1 quart) and there was no mention of loctite either. So wonder why the dealership would mention loctite as the culprit? Hopefully they did not use red loctite otherwise those bolts ain't coming out without a major fight or snap-age.

+1 on it laying around. They wouldn't have cared enough to go to the parts department to get a replacement for the one they "lost."

Dropped out of the Loctite .... 😂🤣😂 I've heard some doozies in my day, but that one takes the cake!! 😳

Like I always tell people, dealers are for when the vehicle is under warranty - let them fix their company's screw ups. Anything else will be MUCH less painful at a small independent shop.

This isn't a dig on the techs. It's because of corporate pay schemes that techs get screwed, along with the consumer.

My son found this bolt on the driveway today. Any idea if it is from my 15 DD Limited AWD? Does it look familiar? Markings on top…MNP 8.8, star drive, about 1 inch long. A couple months ago we had service done at the local Dodge dealership (fluids and spark plugs). Everything seems to be back as it was before, with the exception of an inconsistent slight vibration under load. Thanks, David
It actually looks like a bolt that holds the seat to the floor, and also safety belt brackets.

This look like a transmission pan screw.

"Didn't you know? To make sure that none of our repairs come loose, we pre-soak all of our fasteners in a bucket of Loctite. When the tech was installing your pan, he must have dropped one of the slippery little buggers"...:giggle:
