So... picked up my DD about 3 weeks ago and have been hounded by SirusXM telemarketing ever since... assuming telemarketing as no messages are being left.
Any recent owners experiencing the same carpet bombing?
Just the recent few calls below....:oops:

I picked my DD up in December and I don't remember any SiriusXM calls. does yours come with a 6 month trial? what does your window sticker say for SiriusXM?

Mine indeed does have the 6 month trial....
I guess I'll have to answer the next time to see what they are peddling.... won't have to wait long, should be some time today or tomorrow! :p

Log into your account at Sirius and check your preferences and unsubscribe from everything,

on another note about SiriusXM, when my 6 month trial expired in June I called them up and told them I would renew if I could get a deal and pay them for a whole year and send a check. I tell them I don't put bills like this on a card, don't believe in it. I've used this strategy to renew the SiriusXM on my 2011 Durango I had before this current one.

the process this time was ABSURDLY simple. the nice India/Pakistani native that took my call offered me one year for $129 plus tax. didn't even have to get through him to a manager. when I expressed interest and asked the details he said it was the Platinum package. covers pretty much everything.

also I've noticed my UConnect app to Lock/Unlock and Remote Start works as well. that trial also expired in June 2021 at 6 months. so far it looks like the Platinum Package covers that as well.

Don't uninstall the app and reinstall it, I think you would then lose that freebie feature;)

Great strategy, I think that's the only way I would renew, would never put it on the card... I will have to try that.

The card is convenient. I get the Music and Entertainment package. $77 a year, out the door. They'll send you an email well before renewal time. I make sure to call them at least a week before the expiration. I tell them I want to renew for the same price, or they can cancel. Works every time. No more nonsense, or doing "the dance" as I call it. Where they politely decline over and over, then eventually transfer you to the supervisor, who will grant your wish.

I have a lifetime Sirius subscription in my Charger, something they haven't offered for years now. We paid $300 for it. They used to deny that you could transfer it to another radio and a class action suit fixed that so we are planning on moving it to our DD.

believe me, if I had known about the 'lifetime subscription' back when it was available, I would have jumped all over that.

StuckOnDurango, I did this every year since about 2014. its usually a 'dance' as Don called it. have to talk to the front line India/Pakistani call rep before being transferred to a Retention Mgr who would approve the 1 year deal and pay by check.

this year the front line rep instantly offered the low price for 1 year and OK'd the pay by check.

yes I have to call back each year and sometimes wrangle with them. but I like SiriusXM and I'll do the dance once a year for a good deal.

Thx... I wasn't going to renew after the introductory if I had to put it on the card monthly... then of course, once on card the onus is on you to cancel...
I will renew if I can get a one time yearly payment with check.
