I did tons of research and as much as I hate FCA, purchasing from them is fine as long as vehicle is new or certified pre-owned. It's perfect for me and my family. We have 5 kids. It's like a minivan, a truck, and a Camaro had an orgy and 9 months later the durango r/t is the byproduct. I live in Louisiana with the most awful drivers I have ever seen and I was a CDL truck driver. Anyway I feel you need to power all 4 wheels and have at least 390lbft of torque in order to avoid hospitalization. There is an accident at the intersection leaving my neighborhood EVERY day. No exaggeration.
I love this thing. I want to build a daily driven track/autocross beast that can still pick up the kids and all our groceries.
Not sure if I wanna dress it up but some advice would be appreciated. Who else autocross or tracks a durango. I've seen lots of videos...

I would put stripes on it too. For some reason, once I saw a blue one with stripes they look bland without them. I will say though that they are gorgeous in the sun.

I will share what I have in mind. It'll take plenty of time...

Tint front windows

Black stripes with pink edges

Summer tires

Oem Hitch

Light bar

Odyssey battery

Supercharger or Wrecked Hellcat

CEIKA BBK

Shocks

Swaybars

It'd be awesome if you guys could offer some advice

Black stripes with red edges. Pink? Mary Kay? Or just black alone. OEM hitch won't give you the tow package towing capacity.

We had to trade in ThunderPussy for Gomez. I also have 4 girls. We miss the tuscadero pink. And yes I love the design dodge offers of black stripes with red edges, I'm basing it off that. I wanna paint the calipers pink and the dumb chrome stripes on center wheel cap.

I do wanna keep towing capacity. Does hidden Hitch fit under that plastic thing on the back. The curt Hitch on there hangs down so far, so fucking ugly. I um, well I like this car. I want it to look cool at basically everything angle.

Here's a pic of ThunderPussy cuz why not

The OEM hitch doesn't fit under the cover, there is a bulged cover that goes in place of it. There are two styles, a 'smooth' unpainted one that can be painted to match, since the RT has that lower portion painted, and a 'textured' dark grey one that goes on most of the other Ds. If you're interested, I do have a smooth unpainted one you can have cheap.

Ok so lots of changes. The VA got me a powerchair and hitch mounted lift so towing is no longer a possibility. Maybe one day I’ll get a boat and one of those swivel hoist things.
anyway I need brakes soon. Recommendations on upgraded pads for extra bite? Rotor recommendations?

Just need a $350 thing from harbor freight and I can tow again. I again have a lot planned.
First I need brakes. Brembos for the SRT are not so expensive at rock auto. Gonna do powerstop rotors and pads and I’ll throw on braided lines, better fluid, and ARP extended wheel studs. Plus I’ll need wheel spacers til I get 20x11 hellcat replica wheels and 315mm tires

a friend was making fun of me once and said “you couldn’t fit in if you tried.” So I wanna put on the black racing stripes with a red outline.
Gonna slightly change interior.
weight reduction coming but gonna keep a lot of comfort stuff. Still the family car

Power is last. Wanna keep 5.7, probably supercharge
Wanna keep things close to hellcat
