This is the absolute biggest tire you can go with. Minor interference issues as noted below. Wheels are from Detroit Wheel and Tire. Lift kit is Rocky Road's.

1) Front - the upper control arm ball joint stud may be in the way depending on the tire. I went with Cooper Zeon LTZ and they have a knobby block. I cut off the excess thread. It barely clears. Can't wait to ever have to pull that apart again...

2) Rear - The rear felt liner needs trimmed in the lower forward corner. The "frame" rail that is behind it needs a few slight taps with a 5lb sledge to make a tiny bit more room. It's high strength steel so it won't move much

Driving I only occasionally hear a rub and I'm sure it's up front on the ball joint bolt. I'm going to put in a 5mm spacers all the way around to buy me just a little more inboard space.

That set up looks Awesome.

Does the RR lift kit affect the location of the upper control arm ball joint stud?

Any pictures from farther back?

Are your rubbing issues caused by the lift or by the size of the tires or a combination of the two? It seems to me the tires should fit without rubbing if the D wasn't lifted?

It's the tire size. It's 10mm wider and 1.5" taller than anything the factory did.
I gotcha. I suspect the tire height is the issue. I have the OEM size 295/45/20 tires on my SRT wheels and they aren't close to rubbing. Looks like a 305/50 tire is about .8" taller than a 295/45 and as you said the 305 is 10 mm wider.

Are your wheels OEM SRT wheels or replicas?

You can fit taller tires on it, just not wider. There is a difference. Those are 32".
My current tires are 32.7" tall; 265/70/18 and I'm in an R/T on the RRO lift. Wheels are 18x8 et35
I have no rubbing issues.

RRO lift, 265/70/18 tires on jeep GC Trailhawk wheels and no rubbing. Added 1/2" spacers and no rubbing. However, it is close in front when turning. With some minor trimming, I bet I can go up to 33.5" at same tire width. I can see wider tires rubbing above 32".

So with a 32 inch tire 275/65r18 with the factory wheels for my 14 SXT, has anyone added a similar tall SPARE tire underneath? I'm fine with the steel rim and a cheaper tire, just need to know what fits underneath. Oh, and to complicate matters, I have the factory receiver package.

Because why not?

With the lift and 33s on my Durango I have over 12" of ground clearance to drive components, and 16" to the rock sliders.
