those things are epic?looks bad ass?and yea even when I put in my magnaflow I get the stock rear pipe and positioned it exactly how it was stock but the excessive heat (from free flowing?) melted about 1/2" of the bumper?and the pipe wasn't even close to touching before it started melting?

How long after your install did it start melting? Mine still fine, but you make me wonder if I should be looking into before it's too late.

Just adding a tip onto my exhaust melted the bumper good after a week or so as well. Had to take a grinder/sander to it to make it look right again.

As far as the O.P goes: :bugeyed:

My Magnaflow did the same thing. Tip was nowhere near the cover??

I have a Flowmaster 50 SUV with 3" pipe, and it also melted my bumper ever so slightly. Really can't notice it, but might sand it oneday.

In all seriousness here, those stick out quite a bit so be careful with kids and pedestrians. A couple years ago I was running dual Camaro Tips on my Durango and a gal burned her leg when she accidentally brushed her leg up against them. So I took them off for some smaller flush fitting slant cuts installed.

Ray has a good setup; his tailpipes are pretty much flush with the bumper, and not sticking out much. If people are that close to your bumper then they deserve to get burnt ;)

You guys shoulda had them mounted a bit lower. Mine have been on for a good year now and no melting issues.
How large are your tips rayjj? Mine (sorry, no duals here) is a 3 1/2'' and I really couldn't mount it any lower than I did. After sanding it though I'm please with how it looks.
