I had the same plastic wrappers on the shocks on my 21 DDTNG... I let my dealer know at least once a week (text /phone call/ email) not to install the front plate mount. I use a STO N SHO for my front plate... Sto N Sho Removable License Plate. No Unsightly Bumper Holes! ...I was a total PITA, but no holes in my front bumper cover. 😊

For brake dust issues I changed out my brake pads with less than 100 miles on ”Violet”.

Took over a month and a half (after it was built) to arrive ...but my SRT is here. I should have had a more enjoyable day, but my usually great dealer installed the front plate (after I told them not to), and it has some Dodge quality control issues. (Hood and exhaust need some major adjustments). Once my dealer tracks down a new bumper, they'll adjust...but just sorta pissed me off as soon as I saw it, instead of being psyched. Funny thing is that my 2016 R/T had the same crooked exhaust issues and my 2019 R/T had the same crooked hood issues...now I have both.

My initial thoughts (first 30 miles) coming from a 2019 R/T. Love the exhaust sound, I wont feel the need to go aftermarket (yeah, maybe I'm just getting old). HK Stereo sounds decent...but more EQ testing/adjusting (and probably some stuffing in the sub) will be needed. Love the seats. Handles very nice...love the way it rides, it definitely feels a little more "planted" (vs my R/T). Love the looks, the red calipers really pop. Initially I didn't like the newer front bumper and I was a little worried about not loving the Destroyer Gray(I really wanted Granite), but both look better in person (vs photos).

My only mod plans (as of now)...I have a mighty-mouse catch can, AEM drop-in filter and V1gen2 radar detector (w/ plug-n-play harness) waiting to go in and I'll order a Hellcat front lip in the near future.

Almost every dodge make and model has alignment issues with the exhaust. My charger and previous SRT Durango had it. Drilling fromt bumpers should be outlawed permanently! or at least on any vehicle purchased at $30k or more! Have fun!

Have you looked into installing the HC splitter on the front bumper? Curious to know the cost.
Unless you live somewhere extremely flat like Kansas or most of Texas, I am under the belief that aftermarket splitters are worthless and provide no value whatsoever other than to scatter the road with broken pieces of splitter for other cars to run over.

DC beltway is littered with splitter pieces on the shoulder and seems to be a waste of money.

Agreed. I was talking about the extended "lip," as powerfreak called it, that your HC has but the 392's don't. It looks like a separate part, judging from the seam at the bottom of the front bumper in your profile pic, so I assume that the lip can be added to a 392 with the updated style of front fascia. It would strictly be for appearance.

I didn’t know it was a separate part, I always thought it was the fascia as the bumper?! But I just looked, it definitely is a separate part, whether or not it will fit an SRT is another story. The under lip seems like it would butt up fine however I would question the wheel well area!

I have not ordered it yet, I was holding out hope that my dealer would come through on their offer to replace my bumper with one without the license plate holes drilled (no luck so far), so I don't want to put the hellcat lip on before that happens.

I would install it myself. I got a quote from one of those online companies that will ship parts painted to match your color code, it was $345 shipped. From online mopar sales sites, the part is around $100-150ish + a $100 core charge & shipping...so I figure $345 isn't bad and I have Destroyer Gray, which should be a simple color to match.

Yeah, it's just a separate "lip" that mounts under the bumper and fits the SRT's fine. The HC piece is a bit different, more aggressive looking...a bit of a subtle touch.

Well if it fits, I say go for it! Dodge should have just put it on SRT’s anyway for ‘21 and newer anyway. You should definitely start a new thread with that once you put it on!

Looks like the photo I originally posted here has surfaced in some ebay listings for a dumb looking front lip.🤣
That's pretty funny. You should contact them and request your residual check...lol

I am still trying to wrap my head around how you folks ordered in November and got your DDSRT's before me and I ordered last March. I just don't get it??
You realize this thread is from last year, right? I ordered Nov of '21 and it was delivered March of '22. Sucks that you're still waiting.
