Took over a month and a half (after it was built) to arrive ...but my SRT is here. I should have had a more enjoyable day, but my usually great dealer installed the front plate (after I told them not to), and it has some Dodge quality control issues. (Hood and exhaust need some major adjustments). Once my dealer tracks down a new bumper, they'll adjust...but just sorta pissed me off as soon as I saw it, instead of being psyched. Funny thing is that my 2016 R/T had the same crooked exhaust issues and my 2019 R/T had the same crooked hood issues...now I have both.

My initial thoughts (first 30 miles) coming from a 2019 R/T. Love the exhaust sound, I wont feel the need to go aftermarket (yeah, maybe I'm just getting old). HK Stereo sounds decent...but more EQ testing/adjusting (and probably some stuffing in the sub) will be needed. Love the seats. Handles very nice...love the way it rides, it definitely feels a little more "planted" (vs my R/T). Love the looks, the red calipers really pop. Initially I didn't like the newer front bumper and I was a little worried about not loving the Destroyer Gray(I really wanted Granite), but both look better in person (vs photos).

My only mod plans (as of now)...I have a mighty-mouse catch can, AEM drop-in filter and V1gen2 radar detector (w/ plug-n-play harness) waiting to go in and I'll order a Hellcat front lip in the near future.

a new annoyance discovered today...if the car is running and you get out with the keyfob, and shut the door...the horn honks 3 times and the lights flash. Doesn't appear to be a way to disable it. My 2019 didn't do this, maybe it's new on the 21-22's?

Got curious and checked my Hellcat and it didn't do it. Must be something new.

2021 RT and 2021 JGC do not do it (honk) I leave the car running with no keys when I am snow shoveling and moving cars around.

Found the "feature" when taking the kids to the bus stop this morning, it's pretty annoying...gotta leave a door open to keep it from beeping.

owner's manual has this to say on it (nothing about disabling):

Key Left Vehicle Feature
If a valid key fob is no longer detected inside the
vehicle while the vehicle’s ignition system is in the
ON/RUN or START position, the message “Key Fob
Has Left The Vehicle” will be shown in the
instrument cluster display along with an interior
chime. An exterior audible and visual alert will also
be activated to warn the driver.
The vehicle’s horn will rapidly chirp three times
along with a single flash of the vehicle’s exterior
lights.

NOTE:
- The doors have to be open and then closed in
order for the vehicle to check for the presence of
a key fob; the Key Left Vehicle feature will not
activate until all of the doors are closed.
- These alerts will not be activated in situations
where the vehicle’s engine is left running with
the key fob inside.

I just received mine as well, same color as yours with the Red calipers and all, I luv it so far. I ordered mine back in November and just got it this past weekend. I never got a chance to drive another Durango before getting this one so I dont really have anything to compare it to in that regard but I can say that it does feel planted and handles better than I expected. I like the different drive modes, I usually keep mine in Sport Mode as Track Mode is pretty stiff but boy does it handle. Sorry to hear about the front bumper plate install, they didnt put mine on so Im trying to find a way to put on a plate without using it. As far as mods I was thinking about lowering it maybe and trying to think of ways to add power but seems like nowadays adding power = warrantee issues. Congrats on the new ride, I know I luv mine!

Have the same annoying 3 hons on my 21 Jeep GCL with no option to disable it. Didn't have this feature on my previous 2018 Durango.

Congrats to you too. I ordered mine in November too. For a front plate, check out the "sly bracket"...it mounts through the lower grill. I think it looks much better than the big stock bracket. That's what I was going to use (NY laws suck) Store - Sly Brackets

And I meant to say, "when you lock the vehicle and leave the fob inside". It's also in the manual (sadly yes, I've read it).
I have not manually pressed the pop up to lock a vehicle in 20 years. With that, it is impossible for me to lock the fob in the car. If your door is open and you try and lock it with with the electronic button on the door arm rest, it will not lock. If you shut the door with the fob inside and try to press the lock button on the door handle it will not lock. Dodge has been that way for 20 years. But with Dodge, who knows for 2022
