Hello All...! I've seen multiple threads related to the theft of our SRT's but nothing specific to reviews on the Ravelco system. If I missed a thread somewhere then my apologies for the redundancy. That said, I'm looking for feedback from those of you who've installed this anti-theft system or perhaps another product that you have direct experience with. I'm open to taking this discussion off-line to discuss more sensitive details. I appreciate the support!

Never heard of it. Probably because it sounds like it's not for the auto industry.

It is for the auto industry, and they have it for the Durango, $699 list price. Tempting if it weren't so pricey. If I had a Hellcat and/or lived in a major city it would be a must-have.

FYI system is awesome it takes awhile to get used too. Pros is you know your vehicle won’t be stolen.
Unless they tow it away. Cons is you lose the remote start feature.

I presume that with the plug inserted, it acts as usual with remote start. I'd probably only remove the plug when in high crime areas.

Seriously? It literally tells you on their home page that it's for cars.
A little research before answering next time...
I can't state that I've never heard of it? In the short time here with the thousands of posts that I've read, I've never heard of anyone putting this brand of anti-theft device on a vehicle. I figured if it was mainstream someone would have already used it and mentioned it. I don't just automatically jump to web pages. I did miss the "anti theft device for cars" line in his link though. I'm so sorry.

Exactly how it works. I’m already used to removing the plug everywhere I leave it sitting alone vulnerable to those thieves lurking on these Hellcats. At least knowingly I know it’ll still be there waiting. Like I said unless they tow it away. I have secured this vehicle with a lot of options that it’s impossible to get away.

So you had it installed? Any feedback on it?
I got a quote for $649 for mine. Not available until the end of March.
It's a mobile vendor that comes to you for installation.

I just had the Ravelco installed on my DDHC today. It took him just about 3 hours to install. Nice clean installation. Installer said that a lot of the vehicles he works on now are Hellcats. While he taps into the electrical system in numerous places, the plug itself has no electronics and no battery. I had him mount the plug on a bracket underneath the dash, just above the parking brake lever. The typical spot would be below the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. That location would have been an uncomfortable reach for me. With the location on the left side, I can easily insert the plug before I get into the car and remove it when I get out.

With this device installed, there is definitely a bit of an inconvenience. But I can park the car somewhere and have peace of mind that it has a pretty good chance of being there when I return.

I had it installed. $649 plus taxes. Also 3rd party installer took 3 hours to get it done. If you have a Hellcat or Trackhawk it’s a must to get.

Taken from the Ravelco vs other kill switch thread on the Hellcat forum:

Has anyone here install the IGLA alarm system/immobilizer? It wires in directly to the OBD/Can busses and uses the existing dash/steering wheel buttons to enter the code. It also has a "car-jacking" mode, where if the driver door is opened and closed while it's running, it will immobilize after driving a small distance (and once under a low MPH speed) unless you re-authenticate with the code first.
This seems to be the best option of anything on here. No need to protect your key code, ODB or Starport. Looks like it also has motion sensing, glass breaking and shock sensing.
This and a neutral pull cover to help with push away / tow away should cover it all.
