Pretty standard offerings across all manufacturers...though like you I have never bought an extended warranty even though I've put at least 200K miles on every vehicle I've owned. I will say that FCA's lifetime warranty offering was by far the best value I've ever seen on an extended warranty!!!
BTY, having owned a Honda Accord and my family has owned several Toyota's...they are not without fault and while they seem to have less warranty issues. out of warranty they don't hold up long term any better than Dodge from my experience.
I agree. I guess I've had good luck with mine...every car needs maintained. I change transmission fluid every 25-30k and differential fluid every 20-25k as preventive maintenance. I'm sure lots of people buy into the "lifetime fluid" unfortunately.

They don't call 'em "stealerships" for nothing!
IIRC, if one purchases a non MVP plan from their dealer, as long as it can be canceled, Clay can still sell you an MVP plan. But, if you buy an MVP right off, Clay cannot undercut that sale.

I’ve got one more truck to buy in a few weeks. I’ll go the other route. Amazing though they still try and screw youbifnyer a loyal customer. I’ve bought six vehicles there. Ass hats.and to think they tried almost five grand.
this is one thing you learn when you buy Dodge/Chrysler more than once.

always refuse the 'Extended Warranty' from the dealer. even if they are offering the Mopar MaxCare.

it is ALWAYS a better deal to wait until after the sale and then contact one of the sources we know to have the best prices like Clay Robbins or Zeigler.

unless you live in Florida. don't have a choice in FL...

I want to wait till my 3 yr lease is up. Is it better to wait or is it cheaper now?
that is a great question.

I have always been told its cheapest to buy within the 1st year of purchase. I have not researched that though to see actual numbers.

definitely buy it before the standard 3/36 warranty runs out.

holy shit. yeah screw that. give clay a call. way cheaper. There's always that deal that you'd rather roll it into the loan because it's easier and I understand that. Unless they match the 2000 bucks clay quoted me I'm going to buy it from him on the ram.

I recently bought the Mopar Max Care, 8yr/75k, $100 ded, for $1490. 2021 R/T w/ 3,6xx miles, I leased it new in Jan 2021, but I'm keeping this one so I wanted longer coverage. Got it online from Chrysler Warranty Direct.

I think I did alright, 8yr/115k mi. $100 Ded. Max care, plus wheel & tire and 0% for five years! @ $2850. Then minus 10% below MSRP and 20k for a 2015 Acadia!
After all that, the dealer says; "I could have sold that for Over MSRP" so I said, "I could give FCA a call". He then went off to get the paperwork......

Picking up the Durango tomorrow. They want like 4000 for a 8 year 125000 mile warranty. Seems too damn high. What should I pay?! They have one through their dealer that is 10 year 150k for 3400. Also seems high.

When we bought our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country took factory LIFETIME warranty for $1400. It has paid for itself TWICE with two Major repairs -- Oil filter connector cracked & transmission replacement !
