Anyone seen this error before ?

So this popped up. Anyone ever seen this or know what it is by chance? Everything works fine it seems ..

Only exception is the error for one broken park sense sensor that is in process of being replaced. I do get a park sense error in the dash upon startup, could this be related to that issue? It has nothing to do with Uconnect though.

Thanks

I do have an obd scanner thing in my scat, although never really used that , and not sure if it’s needed or will help.

Error came back today lol… and Uconnect on phone no longer gets data reporting from car… guess it’s time to disconnect battery.

Where is the battery in this thing anyhow ? I think in my scat it’s in the trunk. Also how long does it need to be disconnected for?

Also is there a fuse that can be pulled to reset ecu instead of disconnecting battery and losing all settings etc ?

Durango is under the front passenger seat. Chargers and Challys are in the trunk next to the spare.

That message means you are one of a million lucky recipients of a UConnect system that works as intended. Which is DOESN'T WORK.

and does this actually resolve the issue? I just don't want to mess with it unless some of you have found that it works lol....

Can I just disconnect the negative terminal to reset ecu? It’s much easier to reach under the seat easily. Also how long does it need to be off?

Yes, just unhook the negative terminal and walk away for about 5-10 minutes. Reconnect and let everything reboot upon vehicle restart.

NOTE: When I unhook my battery and reconnect, the UConnect system acts all funky upon the first restart. It resolves itself with the 2nd start sometimes and after the vehicle is running for a bit. I'm sure there is some specific timelines that parts of the system requires the vehicle to be running before the baselines are set again.

Just did that, nothing seemed to reset that I can tell. Uconnect vehicle data still not updating. Only did one start and drove for 15 min. I’ll let it sit again now overnight … how do you know if ecu was actually reset ?

I don’t think this will solve the problem

The main reason I paid 200$ something is so I can monitor these items remotely on my sons car when he’s not here… and that feature isn’t working lol

I understand your frustration but this is my second Durango , my first was a 2015 it had zero issues except a water pump and I drove it to 70k. This is a 21 that my son drives and has been great except for this Uconnect issue which isn’t a major issue in the grand scheme of things .

I have also had 5 scat packs and in over 130.000 miles not one issue.

So I’ll have to nicely disagree that these vehicles are as bad as you describe.

That being said i would like my vehicle data to be working through Uconnect lol

Called guardian and after a one hour phone call they said they would open a ticket lol.

I just checked and it looks like I’m ona very old software version… but I never got any usb and I’m not going to the dealer. Any way to get the update some other way?
