HK audio system and surround sound XM audio issue

Hi y’all! Tried researching this but to no avail.

HK system with surround sound which works on FM radio just fine. However, defaults to a grayed out function on XM. Has me scratching my head….[emoji848]. Any way to get the surround on XM ?

Which software version are you running on the Uconnect? I believe unread that was solved with an update.

The 10.1" does not support SS while using SiriusXM. At least not in .89 version of the software the majority of us have (now)

Thanks for letting me know. Interesting it would not be supported.

How do I determine my version- don’t believe it’s updated though I have tried on my own- not through dealer.

Thank y'all for the advice and pointers; went to dealer and they were great. The radio has some type of hardware issue, so... new one en route.

I tried this yesterday while on my trip, and I do have the option for Surround with Sirius. It does seem to have a difference in sound. I am on .89 software with the HK system 2021 DDSRT
