I was on the freeway driving back from costco merging from far right lane to left lane truck shuts off but i was able to make a safe stop.
its an 04 durango 5.7 hemi around 160000 miles.
lights and dashboard lights up no problem, but when i turn it on it doesn't crank, nothing no sound whatsoever.
I pulled both negative and positive and tie them together overnight to fully reset. nothing.
I replaced all the coils. nothing
replaced pcu with used pcu. nothing
had the battery charged and checked its still a good battery.

tomorrow im thinking of checking fuel pressure, i had a 1/4 tank when it hapened but i added 2 more gallons same day.
i couldnt hear the fuel pump prime cause of loud surrounding but hopefully if i check with pressure test itll give me some answers, idk if this is goign to work,
any comments or suggestions?? thank you

Welcome to DDN. You have thrown a lot of parts in there. Lets drill down a bit before you do any more. Have you done the key dance to see what codes if any, are stored? Look at the way the fan blades are angled. When they rotate, they would need to pull air through the radiator. That should help you know which direction to try to turn the engine.

Lack of fuel pressure, or lack of spark won't keep it from turning over. How is the oil level? Could be lots of things going on here. Just for giggles. see if it will start in neutral.

hey DON thanks for commenting, key dance didnt give me any codes because i pulled both terminals for hard reset. even through scanner i was hopping an ignition issue or a sensor would set off a code but again nothing. oil level is on 'safe", but prior to this about 2 weeks i added oil and collant since the oil light kept blinking, and temp went up.
lol abd no start on neutral i cycled all and nothing.

Trouble shoot with a voltmeter. It doesn't sound like you even tried one yet. Look at the starter circuit first.

Probably not but if you have no voltage at the starter then it kind of sounds like a computer problem that killed the car now that nothing works. You say it won't crank but it might still be something else since it sounds like you have power. For example, if the fuel pump works and you have voltage to the starter the computers might be fine but if it can't rotate the motor you then might have a bad engine.

The oil light is coming on? Not a good sign. Could be a failing sender. Still, that would not keep it from turning over. If the oil light is coming on a lower rpms, you may have an oil pressure issue. I would focus on determining whether it's locked up, and if not, what the oil pressure issue is.

That sounds good! Now, you need to figure why the starter isn't engaging.

Pull the starter and get it tested. Always start with the basics first, instead of throwing parts at it.

Wow! Just wow! Ignition fuse by the kick panel was busted…….. I know I know I should’ve start on the basics. Hey now I don’t have to get a tune up! Lol omg thank you guys for your support. I bought a multimeter since the one I had got stolen with the rest of my mechanic tools and went tested all the fuses 1 by 1 abd found the problem. Again thank you Durango gang!! She’s aliiiiiiivee!!

DM:
Congrats on finding the issue. If you want it to keep running good, I'd pull a couple of the plugs, and check the gaps.
They oem Champions are good plugs, and will last you 50k even though Dodge says 30k. I'd hate to think those are the oem plugs, or maybe the 2nd set. You should be on at least the 3rd set.

I would keep a close eye on your oil level. You may have a leak, or an oil pump issue.
Keep us posted.

Did you check the oil level , you probably seized the engine, or fuse or computer went out.

See post #14 above! OP found a blown fuse in the Junction block and it's running! Way to go Mr. Gloom & Doom! LOL!
