I kinda have a dum question i go to the parts store they ask me if my Durango is 2wd or 4wd i tell them i never seen a 2wd one now i am wondering has anyone seen one or are they a myth i also have a really cool idea for a 2wd one if i can finde one some please inliten me on this

He has posts in another sub-forum where this post should be. I find it amusing that none of us have even answered this question.

I see that but you are wrong. Maybe you meant 2nd Gen prior to the refresh in 2011?

He asked about 2WD vs 4WD which would be RWD vs AWD. It appears that your answer would be to a question of FWD vs AWD.

Yes, of course there are some RWD-only and some 4WD models.

Moose, what are you smoking? You yourself have an AWD car so it's not just RWD only.

Maybe because of where you're at. If the weather gets snowy there in the winter that's probably why.

Deductive reasoning is in short supply now it seems.

I agree with Tin Foil, but you forgot to mention that all 4WD’s are RWD, but not all RWD’s are 4WD. Furthermore, some FWD’s are AWD, but most are 2WD. Make sense?

I live in Michigan
This is most likely why you don't see them. Common sense would dictate not to get a heavy truck with only RWD where it snows. I would bet most dealerships wouldn't have too many on the lot compared to AWD or 4x4 either.
