2021 Durango - cargo area light stays on?

Hi,

We picked up a 2021 Durango RT AWD last week. Tonight while driving I noticed that the cargo area lights stay on? I triple checked that all the interior lights were off and the knob on the left side that turns on all the interior lights wasn't all the way up. So is this a normal thing? Is there a switch somewhere I can't see? The tailgate is fully closed to my understanding also.

Does it stays ON even after the engine has been shut off?

My 2021 Citadel has lights like map lights on airplane. You push switch by light to turn them off

There are 2 little black buttons on the bottom of the rear cargo light that you push to turn on/off each side. They are hard to see!! LOL My 2021 R/T also was delivered with these 2 lights being ON. Somebody at the factory is getting a laugh out of this!!!!

Mine did this for 3 days before I realized I could physically push the light and turn it off lol.

Lol, I figured it was someone at the dealer. All my rear 'roof lights' were on as well. Had to crawl back there and turn them all off. I figured it was some advanced feature, until I realized how to turn them off.....
