Also in this market, they want your used car, that's why you get so much more. Usually they just either pay it off or you roll into your new lease. When my dealership said 50 less a month and money in my pocket for a new one that cost about 6k more I said yeah do it in a heartbeat lmao

Great news! Glad they are moving!! I'm still in line but I have a September delivery date so I imagine it should be soon, no biggie.

Hey Guys, I'm planning to join the Durango family soon. I'll place the order, but I have a few questions that maybe some of you know about, especially some interior packages.
2021 Durango RT AWD
1- First, I want the AWD system, I've never had an AWD car. Also, because It's the only way to pick the 20-Inch x 10-Inch Lights-Out Aluminum Wheels (the same Hellcat wheels), plus it requires the Tow 'n Go package, which adds a bunch of cool features for $5K.
2- Color Exterior: my wife likes the Redline, and I like the Destroyer Gray... What do you think, Redline is hotter than Destroyer (black stripes)? Note: I could add stripes later to the red.
3- Seats: What do you suggest and what are the differences between 'Leather Suede Bucket Seats' and 'Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats'... Are the Leather-suede ventilated, or just heated?
4- Adding Harman Kardon: I think this is a good add-on. Does it sound really good?
5- Power Sunroof: I removed it. Not sure if it could cause any issue in long term, like leaking problems or so. It's a $1300 option and maybe I won't use it that much. I live in Florida, Miami... Yeah I know, beach, sun, but I don't drive that much.
6- Forged Carbon Fiber: I think it doesn't worth $995 just for a few fake CF.
7- Premium Interior Group: Here is one of the biggest concerns, does it worth it? It includes 'Premium Instrument Panel' (anyone has an idea about it, and if you have it, what is the difference with the standard and please, let me see a few pictures 😏) and 'Suede Headliner'.
8- Blind Spot: YES... here in Miami you need them all time.
9- Blacktop Package: YES
10- Tow N Go: Yes, I'm not planning to tow a boat (I don't have one) this package worth all those features it includes. What do you think? The main reason is to have the hellcat wheels, High-Performance Exhaust (does it sound louder?), HP suspension, Run-flat tires, 5 drive modes, Black BIG Brembo brakes (There is a 'Red Brembo® Brakes with SRT Performance Pads' which adds a 15-inch slotted/vented rotor and I think Bigger calipers. The Black Brembo package doesn't come with the same rotors and pads, and for $395 I think I could add it, What do you think? My only concern is that exterior paint could be red, so red with red like 🤨), also adds 'Active Noise-Control System', which I hate because my Lexus have it, and this sounds so fake. Also, it includes a 145 MPH Max Speed Calibration, what is this?

In response to the stereo system upgrade.. get it. It's worth it.

The leather and suede seats are not ventilated, only heated. I chose those for comfort purposes. I currently have them in my JGC and love them.

Anything else, I dunno.. im waiting on mine to be delivered to the dealer. Which should be any day now

But you have the 'leather and suede' and those are more comfortable than leather-trimmed seats? I like the idea of suede, but I like the ventilated seats on my Lexus (I'm selling it to get the Durango).
I drove yesterday a 2021 Durango RT, and it felt weird, first, the exhaust sounds quiet and with a metal noise, the engine (for a 5.7 V8) is quiet too. I was expecting a louder engine and more agile, more response, it felt really heavy (car has only 3K miles). Maybe it gets better with the Tow N Go package that includes a High-Performance Exhaust and the AWD system.

Mine has been in D status for 18 days now. Dealership advised I should see some movement this week..

TNG, Graphite Metallic, Cargo Plus Group, Tech Package, Vitra Grey int, Moon Roof, Red Brembos, (NO BLACKTOP). $3,200 under dealer invoice. with Friends and Family plan!

I was in D status for a long time. D and D1 till about 2 months in. Took another month just to build. Now I am just waiting for it to ship to me. 14 weeks as of Saturday.

Yes, to me the leather and suede is more comfortable. I test drove a TNG.. it was quiet. No rumble really. But I didn't order a TNG, I got the RWD so I could get the other upgrades I wanted.
