Hey guys, I have a 2007 durango and I've just replaced a bunch of stuff to get her running good again. But the one issue I've been having even after everything is, when I put my car in drive the rpms shoot up like crazy but there is hardly any get up and go until it shifts into second gear. This would occasionally happen before but I would be able to turn the car off and then back on and she would be back to normal. Yesterday is when it started doing it everytime no matter what I did. It also gave me the error code P1775(3 consecutive unsuccessful attempts are made into 1st gear with one given key start)

If I drop it down in 1st then to 2nd then drive it works normally but having to do that at every stop sing and light is a real hassle.

If anyone sees this and has any suggestions please let me know!

Alex:
Welcome to DDN. How many miles, and what engine in your '07? What was the original concern that prompted you to begin replacing parts? Doing such a thing, without making checks after each part is added, can make for a bit of a mess.
It sounds like you might also have a transmission sensor issue, or other trans issue in the mix also.

Speaking of the trans, has it been serviced recently, if ever?

Sounds to me like a clutch pack or shift solenoid is failing.

Low/reverse pressure solenoid is either faulty or there is a short or open circuit in the wire that controls it. First thing I would do is check your battery and charging system, low voltage can cause this. Next I would trace that wire from the transmission control plug back to the pcm and probe it for shorts, or open circuit. If that all checks out, it is likely the solenoid pack.
