The new 10.1" system allows you to subscribe (after initial trial) to ATT for the Wifi Hot Spot feature.
The new Sirius 360L allows internet only channels to be streamed over the ATT 4G internet connection.
The system caches your favorite channels so when you tune to a channel, it starts the song at the beginning.
Nice feature BUT, if you have SiriusXM internet only channels saved to your favorites, the system still caches those channels.
This means you are paying for additional data while not actively listening to streaming channels.

How do we now how much data left we have? Whats funny is because wireless Android auto or carplay use WIFI connection, so we can’t connect our phone to the hotspot.

We don’t have AT&T in canada, I hope it won’t cut in half the data due to roaming

You need to log into your ATT account that you created to check it.
It would be nice if you could set warnings so you get an email at a predetermined amount of data usage.

Even still, I love this Durango!

What use does the wifi have besides kids playing games on their devices. ? Anyone find any other uses or benefits to having it?
I am taking advantage of listening to stream only channels from SiriusXM. Other then that, unless Dodge releases a new firmware that provides web access via a browser and allow more apps to be installed that can use wifi, I will not buy the service for $15/mo just for some extra sirius channels.

Is there a feature to add apps? I was able to get Pandora on my Ford for 1 of the added apps, yet it's useless too. It doesn't seem like wifi is worth it.

I've tried Sirius/XM a couple of times when it was included for free with a new car purchase over the years. I've never been impressed enough to actually subscribe. That's mostly because their stations seem to play the same 4 or 5 songs over and over each month. If you're lucky, they will change those songs once in a while, but I find their playlists to be very repetitive - to the point of being annoying. With the advent of cell phones running Spotify, Waze, and Google maps, and now the ability to project those directly to the vehicle's head unit, I see no reason for the satellite stuff whatsoever. All my music is already saved to my phone, the phone gets traffic data directly, and Waze has even more information like police reports and road hazards. About the only thing I'm missing is a weather radar app for Android Auto - or better yet, a weather radar layer on my Waze or Google maps!

For three weeks now been trying to get WiFi on my new 2021 durango 10.1.
AT&T told me that they don't offer WiFi on ANY of the 2021 Durango's. Ugh! Dealership is zero help and dodge has yet to RSVP and the dealer seems to be clueless. Ugh the pic ifrom AT&T website, does not even an option to choose the 2021 Durango, more confirmation of what AT&T says to me on phone. Had zero problems with the uconnect on my 2019, now seems like nothing will work on the 2021,

Try this site because that is how I log into ATT for the Durango. I did have to signup using the 10.1 Uconnect.

The Hotspot is useless and the only other feature it gives you is listening to streaming only Sirius Channels.
Work around is use the Sirius app on your phone.

I have been to this site before and after entering vin number I still get "Service Not Available" . Dodge dealer spent time on phone with AT&T, Dodge and me. They say it's a bad head unit what ever that is. However the dodge has yet to give the dealer the information to fix it.

I was told I needed the wifi to get both the navagation weather and Alexa to work. Is this true, or are they stand alone apps that really do not need the internet and should be working on their own? So frustrating to pay for features that a dealer sells you on only to find out they don't work!

You do need it for Alexa. not for Navigation or weather. My wifi is canceled and weather still works.

There is definitely another problem then. My weather does not work and I was lead to believe that's because I have no wifi. Ugh
Weather is a hit or miss. No need data for it to work. I can't get an accound because I'm in canada and my weather does sometimes work.

Just found a cool feature that maybe you guys already know. In the uconnect mobile app, you can type down an address and send it to you vehicule in the uconnect nav.

Please, everyone open a ticket with Uconnect when something does not work. It's great posting on our forum but if Uconnect does not know about the trouble they can't fix it.
They may still not fix it or will take a long time but only the Squeaky wheel gets the grease, remember that!

WOW not sure if this is a coincidence or not. My trial ATT wifi account expired today. When I just left work, I knew it because the radio would give me no internet error when I tried to listen to internet streaming sirius channels. Then I decided to check the weather and for the 1st time in well over a month it errors out. I hope this is a coincidence because if not, and you are required to subscribe for weather I will change my attitude towards Dodge.
