Was behind a BMW X5 a week ago and the exhaust tips were just as bad as yours or worse.

It's not just Durangos.

I made some adjustments to the '21 DDRT T&G tips—easy peasy. The driver side needed a bit of adjustment just post resonator and at the tip—a little tweak to the passenger side tip as well. Lost the before picture, but it was enough for my "The picture on the wall is not level" eye to get it done.

How did you adjust it with the tips being welded on? I know I'm missing something.

I could be wrong and someone will correct me I know, but I think the Tow and Go models use the SRT performance exhaust which has adjustable tips not welded to the resonator, it a ball type joint with a band clamp probably similar to the challenger and chargers.

I'm sorry Compresstech...I wasn't thinking of the "exhaust" difference (RT v. SRT) that YouMadBro and Kdogdillion point out. While I had a 2018 RT, those tips were spot on. The 2021 RTT&G were a bit off and easy (by nature of the SRT plumbing) to fix. Cheers.

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2021 Durango R/T and the exhaust tips are out of alignment. I may have a little but of OCD lol. Is there an easy adjustment, unbolting a clamp and moving it or anything?

Dealer is three hours away and wanted to see if I could do it before driving back. View attachment 115442
Mine look exactly the same. Has anyone come up with a DIY fix other than the dealer? Mine look welded to the resonator.

My 2017 R/T had the same issue, right side looked good but the left was not centered. Fortunately the left side resonator has a flanged joint just before it and can be easily removed. Took off both flange nuts & dropped the resonator to resurface the flange with an angle grinder. That repositioned the tip to the center, took a few tries but looks good now.

Wow, I'm not OCD nor alone thank goodness. Not crazy to ask my dealer to fix it. Passenger side is centered, driver side but-up to the one o'clock position. see 3

Dodge thinks people like this look and that is why it is the norm for every Durango off the assmebly line.
The UAW exhaust installers need to be re-educated on how to do their job properly or they should get fired.
Sorry to be so rude about UAW but for the price we are paying too bad to the bad workers at Dodge.

Wish that were true for us lowly V6 folks. Welded in place. [emoji12]

Best get them aligned. My 2015 was fine for a while just went on a road trip towing and the heat generated on the misaligned driver side pipe melted the bumper. Not happy. Towed many times just not distance. I should have been a stickler and had it done. Mechanic said only way to fix was to cut a section off and realign. I see no way to adjust. It sits in and up further then the right side which is fine.

Maybe I'm backwoods, but I always just stuck a long steel tube or rod into my exhaust if it wasn't completely straight and manually moved it that way. Never had any problems with that approach myself. I supposed if you manhandle it too much you could break a weld, but I never did.
