Hi . Are you tired of the 392 or it’s just a ritual that you like to change cars.? As for the most have options you got it for 392, hellcat also of course and you’re right not too many things come to these cars.
Wish you all the best in a good hunt
I really like the 392, but as a ritual, I like to regularly change cars. I get a healthy lease allowance at my job, so I get a new car every 3 years. This has given me the opportunity to try a bunch of different vehicles. Recent daily drivers include an Audi TTRS, Audi RS5 and Boxster S. As much as I have liked all of these cars, I am always excited about my next car purchase. Some people fear the new car purchase, but I always look forward to it. That being said, nothing I have driven in the past combines the fun factor of driving with every day practicality like the SRT, which is why it remains on my list.

Sounds like you’re in a good place with your lease/cars/job. Nice going.
Hopefully you’ll find the right car for you and if you are sticking to the 392, change the paint color, put stripes on it change the interior from leather to suede or vice versa and I’ll feel like a different car in a way ... and besides the 2021 is really updated from the ‘18.
wish you all the best

Funny, I am the same way about cars except my work doesn’t give me an allowance. At the 3 year mark I’m ready for something new but I really like the Durango.

whatever happens all of you folks who leased have equity in the return..I think solid 18's are retailing in the 50-52 range with about 25-30k miles...
You are correct, my buyout is $41k so I have a decent amount of equity in my truck. I can either trade the car in when I lease a new car or I can buy it out. Because I only have a month to find something I will probably buy it out and trade it in later when I find something.

I would consider buying my car out, but at 60k miles, I am 15k miles over the mileage allowance and the car is starting to show its age. I should have been nicer to it, but boy do I have good memories of my time with it.

I noticed that Ram has a 2500 that looks to have the 392 engine in it. I may have to take a look at that one too. It doesn't have an extra row of seating, but I might be able to get away with it.

a cap cost reduction reduces your cap cost...
Sure but that only reduces the monthly payment. For example, residual is based on MSRP. My MSRP was $74,500 and residual was .55 so my buyout regardless of cap cost is $40,975. Residual is not based on cal cost. As another example, I got $9k off MSRP, that doesn’t factor into the buyout/residual. Make sense?

Yes , interesting that your residual was that high , when I was looking in 18 the residual on a 36 month 12k/year lease was 35k...
I leased in April of 2018 so the percentage could change depending on the month. Also remember that your MSRP could have been lower. If you got a low option DDSRT with a MSRP of $65k your buyout would be $35k with a .55 residual.

Ram does not get the high-output 392 for truck duty. It’s only 410 hp/429 tq

Also keep in mind the 2500 curb weight is about 7,000 lbs, compared to the SRT Durango’s 5,500 lbs.
