Been shopping for a new ‘21 Citadel (V6), and I’m noticing that nearly all of the new V6 Durangos with dual exhaust have crooked exhaust tips - one is reasonably straight, the other is pitched slightly down. It’s definitely a manufacturing thing, but I’m wondering if it’s something that can be adjusted or if it’ll require a new exhaust. It looks like the mufflers themselves are reasonably level, but the tips are welded in place.

Pretty disappointing for such an otherwise nice vehicle.

My 2021 R/T Tow N Go's tips were definitely crooked but they are clamped on and can be adjusted. I straightened mine out easily.

I’m going to have to take a closer look. The Hemi Citadel I saw had the same tips as the V6, and I know the SRT has different ones, but not sure about the RT. The ones I saw on our old Citadel definitely appeared to be welded. Hopefully not!

The Tow N Go has the SRT exhaust so it is different from yours for sure.

Seems to be an FCA problem in general, both my 'Rango & Hellcat tips were mis-aligned.
The Cat was easy as they are adjustable @ the tip. The 'Rango required adjusting (bending) the mount rods that slip into the hangers.

I just picked up a new Durango and mine has the same issue. I just made an appointment with the dealer.

I crawled underneath, and it looks like it’s the tip on the driver’s side muffler. Fortunately, that muffler is bolted to the exhaust right at the muffler itself, so hopefully it’s just a matter of replacing it. Haven’t taken it in yet, as the dealer’s an hour away, and a PITA as a result.

Yep, My 2021 RT was also slightly off. Drivers side seemed good while the other had a slight tweak downward. I ended up doing a resonator delete with Blasting Bobs straight pipes 4” tips. Quick and easy fix.
