After reading a bunch of threads, I see that a bunch of people say the R/T is “slowish”. I drove one and it’s heavy and could be considered slowish, Ik Ik get an srt. Since some people can’t afford an srt what mods has anyone done to get more horse powerput of their R/T? Looked around but didn’t find much. I’m planning on getting the towngo by the way.

Anything that you do to any other car. ECM Tuner, exhaust, cold air, NOS, Supercharger, Turbochargers, and engine swaps.

All of this except you will not find a better performing and sounding exhaust than what is stock on the TNG. I know this is primarily my opinion but I think its accurate...
What you do depends on whether you want to void the warranty or not. If you don't then don't open the engine up.
Lol trying not to void the warranty. Also is there a forum area for this?

By the time you do all those mods (to get real power you'll be tweaking the ECM at some point which voids the warranty) you'll probably be getting close to an SRT price anyway. Maybe save a couple of grand. It's crazy days when a 5500 lb SUV can go to 0-60 in 6 seconds or so and be considered slow lol. I just put 1,000 miles on my 21 and am very happy with it. I'll probably throw a CAI on it shortly mostly for fun, but those free up about 10 ponies.

18 SRT under 30k miles are retailing in the low 50's...find a good one...
50gs still painful for a 3 year old car that's hard to know what it went thru, but I get you
