Just curious, has anyone installed a underhood light in there DD? It seems like there should be one in there. If you have done this, lets see some pics.

I too, am very surprised that Dodge never put a light there.

No, but looking into these: JK / JKU LED Hood Halo (Engine Bay Kit)
Also, under my hood (2016) on the drivers side it looks like there could be some sort of light able to be mounted as the hood insulator has a rectangular shape missing with two holes like a bracket should fit there but there is no connector just hanging out unplugged like the RAM has.

I was trying to use OEM products in already drilled holes for a clean look. The only provision that needs to be figured out is how the light will be controlled. I was thinking a hood pin switch for a clean factory looking install so the light turns on automatically when you pop the hood or just a rocker switch mounted in a hidden location somewhere in the engine bay for manual control.
