so the 21's have that ugly orange side marker.. found a solution today since Luxe doesn't have a "pre cut" like the do for all the chargers etc. I found some old ones left over that worked. I first tried to use a big piece leftover from a tail light and it was tough, but then I had a charger side marker pre cut and it's almost exactly the right size. If you start from the bottom curve with these, you only have to cut a tiny bit at the top and on the inside channel. with an exacto knife it was pretty easy and if I can do it, you all can too.
I don't know if they are the front or rears from the charger, it's the smaller ones and they call come in a set anyhow, not expensive. makes a big difference to me so I thought I'd share.
btw, I've used these a lot and they are dark smoke but at night the light comes through perfectly, from Luxe Auto Concepts... but they have many different finishes matt, glossy, etc. these are glossy/dark smoke .
hope this helps someone lol...

Hopefully manufacturers will start coming out with aftermarket tinted reflectors that have the LED lines in them. I really love those and have them on my Challenger.

agreed and those are definitely nicer! I like the tint as it's cheap and easy and accomplishes almost the same thing, no orange during the day and light at night... the less installing and wiring I have to do the better lol.... I imagine at some point soon they'll have both tint precut and the LED's both ready for the 21... strange that the 20 and before didn't have this side orange light now all of a sudden they do lol?

The reason for the side markers on the 2021 models is because on 2020 and older, you can see the headlights have the markers built into them. Personally, I find the built in headlight markers much more attractive than just slapping one on the fender. It’s more subtle looking in my opinion, no need for tinting and such on them IMO. However, I do really love the 2021 headlight design.

While luxe doesn’t have the Durango side markers you can just buy the charger ones they sell. They fit perfect. A minor cut but other then that fit great!
exactly, but get the non widebody when you select vehicle. I agree, they are almost a perfect fit, very little cutting and it's very easy to do. they look great.

It appears they have them now. I'm buying a set. Will post pics when done.
Just installed Luxe markers, real tails, and rear brake light on my 2021. They look awesome, and such a nice OEM plus look.

Definitely have planned on doing this since ordering the vehicle. I dig it!

Please excuse my ignorance (and I'm guessing I could find out by looking the items up), but does the tint for the side markers go on the inside or outside of the marker? The more I see these, the more I think I want to do this with mine when it gets here.

Yeah, I actually went and looked them up and watched an install video. The video was on a '15 Charger where he wrapped it into the wheel well. My question to you is how is that handled with the TNG "wide" lip? And what shade/style did you go with? I'm thinking med or dark smoke to make it blend in and almost vanish on my DB black when it's not on.

My rear and side markers are closer to medium as that is what I was going for. Based on what you are looking for, I’d go dark. I had the same guy that did my last Durango do this one. He puts some sort of cutting tape with the vinyl and cuts it to size right on the vehicle itself. Then they use whatever solution they use to adhere along with a heat gun. It’s how they get the reverse lights cut out so precisely.

Haven't decided if I want to do anything with the rear or not. Yours is the first I've seen with the reverse lights cut out which makes a lot of sense after seeing some guys say they really dimmed after getting it done.

I personally like the look. The additional benefit is you don’t lose any light for sure. You could always upgrade the reverse lights to brighter as well whether you tint or not. I had a Grand Cherokee SRT years back that had the tint painted on with the reverse left cleared as well. I believe I got the idea off a guy on that forum. That’s what’s great about these things.
